you can argue it based on how each player is performing with the minutes their given, how consistent their effort has been, and patterns the coach has been using (i.e., Luke benching Randle and DLo in the 4th quarter of games, Ingram constantly leading the team in minutes, etc).
So far, Zubac has had only 1 bad game (vs DAL, but everyone had a bad game that day).
So far, Clarkson's effort has been darn consistent every game. He's gonna give you double figures scoring off the bench and hustle.
So far, Luke has showed tremendous confidence in B.I. by virtue of how many minutes and different positions he's playing.
So far, it's clear Randle and DLo are wildly inconsistent and at times it's so obvious how little effort they give on the floor when their team needs them most.
One thing is a given, the Lakers are going to lose the game 70% of the time. But what's not a given is the effort level of each player night in night out. That's what I'm sure the coaching staff and management is comparing in their ultimate decision to eventually keep/trade a player.
