Trade them. On the clock. Bust. Tank for Westbrook/Isiah/A.I.

"But I think its the fact that they really stepped up their professionalism as far as the way they're....approaching practice and every opportunity," says Luke.

In other words, the INTANGIBLES.

Less and less "Hollywood" and flash, and more and more hard work/dedication have seemingly led to improved play on the court.

Notice how D'Angelo hasn't changed his hairstyle over the last 6 games, and during this time his performance has improved tenfold and more importantly been more consistent?

Now that's what I like to see from the kid.

And it's no surprise that Brandon Ingram's play has gotten better at the same time. Hmmm...maybe Russell and Randle's improvement has been rubbing off on B.I. as well, almost like it's infectious.

wonder if Luke limited BI's minutes due to the length of the NBA season, didnt want him to burn out coming from a shorter college season.

if so,  wait til they get a hold of him

You know you are obsessed when you start correlating hair cuts and game play... :{

We're kind of thrown off with Randle missing a full year...

But just for reference

Year 2 Durant, Year 1 Westbrook & Ibaka went 23-59

We're technically Year 2 Randle & Russell, Year 1 Ingram

But even if we finish with 30+ wins, pretty much impossible for us to make the same jump that they did where they went from 23 wins to 50...

mamba gonna come in here with that tank talk...so we can drat that harden role

I see extra lite KD is here but where are Russ and Serge? And you thought wins over the Heat and Magic are going to stop the tank? With the schedule we have coming up?! No limit.

It isn't a "terrible" idea. It's how we've added the talent we have now. Adding another blue chip piece wouldn't be bad at all.

That said, I don't think we EARN a bottom 3 seed, I figure our best realistic hope is a "lucky" lottery bounce that jumps us up into the top 3. Which, would cause rioting and conspiracy theories for decades, alas.....

Is this still because of the Nash trade ? Cot damn that was 2012 and we still owe draft picks

So far hasn't been too bad

Nemanja Nedovic (out of the league)
Alex Oriakhi (not going to play in NBA)
Johnny O'Bryant III (DLeague)

When they get the 8th or 9th pick, then we'll see how it goes from there.

So the Lakers were trying to trade for Millsap...I don't even know what to think.

@forumbluegold
If you push the sample to 10 games, the Lakers' OEff is 108.9 & their DEff is 108.5. 13th in NBA for that sample & 1 of 14 w/ a + net rtg.

@hmfaigen
The 14th best net-rating over the last 15 games, to further extend the sample size. They have been above average

It's time for conspiracy theories. It's been too long since the Lakers are tied with any conspiracy theories.
