**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

People really think lavar don't be giving his boys game behind the scenes and letting them know what to expect. It's almost like how ali would provoke his opponents with all that talk before the fight and use their aggression against them

Next three games is going to be Toronto, Utah, and Detroit

Toronto and Utah on a back to back, although the game against vs Toronto will be at home

Let's see if this team can keep up this defense.

All winnable games imo if we play defense like we did last night. Also once Zo's shot starts going in..MAnnn :pimp::pimp::pimp:

Scouting report is out on Lonzo... teams sending like 3 guys back and heads are on swivels :lol :lol

If only we didn’t have to force feed Brook Lopez piss poor offense.

Can we please offload him for a bag of chips?

Lonzo, KCP, Kuzma, BI, Randle or Nance rebounding isn’t a huge issue because all rebound really well for their size/position

I don’t think I’ve ever heard Lonzo speak now that I think about it

Ingram quietly averaging 16/5/3 this season so far. I'm happy with those numbers. He needs to cut down on his turnovers though and starts actually making jumpers I'll be really happy.

That's almost exactly where I thought he'd be coming into the season. Anything over 15 & 5 is gravy to me.

In regards to Randle as long as he plays 30 mpg and closes games, I'm fine with it at this point.

Something needs to happen with Brook Lopez though... Not sure why Magic would even bring him here.

If he's not flipped so what? Honestly wasn't expecting that at all. Expiring deals aren't worth what they used to be and every contender would really have no use for him.

Best case scenario would be that we can flip Brook for a mid to late 1st round pick near the trade deadline

But yeah, he's an expiring contract so losing him next summer is whatevers

brook is who he is
stretch 5 who doesnt rebound
expiring deal that may or may not be able to be flipped at the deadline....

thats why

Only thing Magic & Pelinka would flip him for is a 1st round pick.

No way they are taking on another teams trash multi year contract players.

Lonzo always been calm
You could see it in his UCLA days

Yeah, mentally he's tough. Lavar from south central, he probably was talking all kinds trash to Lonzo when he was a kid playing basketball. He Got Game type of teaching.

Nah, he's not that reliable. If he's playing defense like last night? Ok but Randle is the type you have to save him from himself.
