That both sides thing that you do is utter BS. White privilege affords a choice, as to where one for Black people does not exist. The main reason white people eschew social cues, skirting laws, is because they really do think that those cues and laws do not apply TO them. Therein lies the difference, because a Black man who is disheveled is not equal to a white man in the same condition in this land of white supremacy.
There isn’t a white person in a america that faces the same existence that someone Black does. Even the lowest form of trailer park trash will think that he is better than LeBron James, because he is white. White people live with a privilege that allows them to stink, have rotten teeth, be barefoot in public restrooms, then storming the capitol without being killed by the police, whereas a Black man wearing a military uniform, smelling like daisies, will still be pulled over and detained by the police for having air freshener in his rear view window. So please man, I do not know what WORLD you think you are living in, but things are not even on the both sides you seem to love to straddle.
This is a country governed by law, and those laws favor white people, giving them the right to opportunity to better themselves first. In this country, Black people are forced to be exceptional in order to succeed, and mediocre individuals like Donald Trump get to be president of the united states, while eating mcdonalds and never reading a book that wasn’t interpreted through fox news. In the reality of law and white privilege, ALL are held to the same standard. So yes, many of them choose to be exactly what they are, therefore should be judged stereotypically since all opportunity supports their existence.

I think that the whole american exceptionalism thing has been proven to be a complete lie. How many millions of people voted for Trump against Biden? It isn’t up to Black people to end racism. It us up to the people who created it to end it. White people are responsible for what they have created. Black people are fighting against what they have created. How we deal while living under a system of oppression, is not up to the discretion of whites. If we feel that they are mediocre, then they are.
