Jordan XI Legend Blue - December 14, 2024

I think it's both.

They keep charging people more for a worse product. I grabbed me a pair for $200 out the door locally.
You’d be wrong. Granted I don’t have any idea what Nike’s customer profile looks like but you can’t reconcile Christmas spending being at an all-time high and these sitting (and really the same thing the past two years).

It turns out when they juice up production over a half million there are gonna be some pairs sitting. Which makes sense when the production runs are based on years old sales data, not current sales and demand in 2024.

Idk what it is with these cats thinking everybody broke lol

$250 ain’t ****, cats just don’t wanna spend it on BS.

Agree with all of this. This is what I don't understand-how can they use worse materials on these than the 2014s?

They pushed the "remastered" narrative the next year in 2015 to justify price increases and yet they have devolved a decade later to worse materials. It's pure greed on Nike/JB's part.

We were starved between 2001 and 2009 unless you bought a two pack in 06 or 08. But now we’re flooded. Even for us that really care, we can only really care so much at this point. Even if these were top notch quality I wasn’t gonna jump through hoops to get them like I did 2009-2012.

The idea it's a quality issue cutting sales on a shoe like this is laughable too. The average chump isn't seeing "inferior materials" and declining to purchase. Especially when there's basically nothing out there from early reviewers suggesting the quality has dropped off a cliff (it hasn't, it's the same crappy materials they've been using for 15+ years). But to think people are simply not purchasing because of quality control or materials is ridiculous when they clearly sold hundreds of thousands of pairs of these.

11 velvets weren’t produced in near similar numbers to these. We have to stop trying to compare the two.
