Exactly. This is what puts it over the top for me. There are HUNDREDS of Chargers fan that you just know were super annoyed by his cheering, yet everyone isjust silent and some are even PROTESTING the arrest loudly? Their team is getting upset in the playoffs and they're defending a fan from the other team, orat least refusing to cheer his arrest? If that doesn't convince you that the cops were out of line, you're just the type of person that will ALWAYSdefend cops, even when they put plungers in people's buttholes, or you just want to have a different take for the hell of it.

that's grimy. dude will prolly get broken off though, i've got a feeling this isn't the last we'll hear from this. dude did the right thing fortaking up for him, son was talkin MAD wreckless tho

You serious?

Even sitting the in Bleachers at Yankee stadium, as long as you're not talkin' garbage to the Yankee fans around you, you won't have any problems.

overly obnoxious cheering, at a level 2-3 times more than those in that section for the home team, can stir so much trouble.

noone wants to hear any sort of chanting or cheering exceeding whats taking place by the home fans.. believe that..

"not talkin' garbage"... im telling you, obnoxious cheering in general catches nerves just as much as real trash talk.

I dont believe that one bit that at yankee stadium a fan can walk in and be over the top in a positive manner and the fans would accept that.. words would be exchanged on both sides, and then one dude whos had enough will go in.. its just a simple recipe for a beatdown no matter what.

Thats the thing..

You'll get smack-talked to you 100%. Thats a given. But I'm saying, I've sat in the bleachers at Yankee stadium where this Rangers fan was cheeringand whatnot, he caught flak for it no doubt, but he didn't say anything back. End of the game, couple of the loudmouth Yankee fans gave him a dap and left, end of story.

You go into ANY opposing teams stadium, you gotta know your limits. Its basically the whole section against you. Nobodies gonna knock you silly for cheeringfor your team, just as soon as you tell someone to go F themselves, be prepared to either catch a shot across the face or be escorted out.

this is why i cannot stand the police!. smfh at the dude at the end "lets go outside".

As a diehard Charger fan I am disgusted by this BS. Let the man root for whoever he wants to root for. He paid for his ticket, he should be able to root in peace without threat of getting manhandled... especially by some cops.

cops= no win situation.

What if dude out of nowhere has a heart attack with 4+ cops wrangling him? Hope he gets paid.

Cops are cowards. I have been there for the Raider Charger games and crazy %+!! always happens and there is no cops anywhere. Maybe the 1000 cholos in raidergame make sure they dont arrest anyone saying raiders raiders raiders.

cops can be punks. worst thing is dudes gunna have to chalk it up as a loss or spend a bunch of time and $$$ to try and sue. i hate how cops can do whatever they want. straight BS

Degenerating into Black Hole/Raider Nation type of buffoonery (the cops that is)

Why was the dude resisting?

He could've just gone up to the concourse with the officers, sorted !%++ out, and went back to his seat.

There are four cops around you, they say let's go, you go. Dude went limp, made the situation a lot worse.

I don't buy the Yankee Stadium Bleacher report, fights happen, they may not happen in the 5-15 games an average fan attends, but there are 81 games.

Frankly, the dude was obnoxious, and sure some fans don't mind that behavior. However, there are always one or two knuckleheads that will take exceptionto it, next thing you know there is a fight, and next thing you know it's up on Youtube.

When I tried to watch the video it said "an error occurred." Lookin like the cops snatched the tape, on some LeBron %*%$

All he did was cheer for the Jets, big %+*@!!$ deal. Every game there are always a few fans who cheer loudly for the away team. If he was getting up close intopeoples faces then yea you escort him out, dude was standing in his assigned area that HE PAID FOR.,

You have to bend dudes arm and forcefully handcuff him? He is no damn threat to anyone.

Anyone making excuses for the arrest needs to stick their heads out of their @*%.

They were in the wrong here.. but I've been at games where #$@+ like that has escalated to a fight. I was at the Giants/Eagles game (week 14 15?), andthere were just obnoxious drunk fans sitting right in front of us. It went from them cheering > to verbal abuse going back and forth asking for a fight >fans throwing cups of beer at them
laugh.gif
Security escorted them out after that.

By the 4th quarter of that same game there was about a 5 man brawl 10 rows above us. They feel about 3 rows down, I thought the entire section was going tostart falling down towards us. Its pretty pathetic but it happens, fans take it too far.
