but they go hand and hand, they can keep the price the way it is with better materials or lower the price and keep the materials the way they are.

that's my point they're raising price due to demand not because of materials. Let's be real we all want the best for our money but who hasn't purchased a retro in the last 5 years? Considering I don't wear them that often I'd just rather spend less on each pair at this point.
