I honestly don't see anyone topping Craig though or even being in league with how he embodied the character(modern day).

What is gonna make him stick for me personally was what we got in Casino Royale, the origin and explanation of why he is the way he is was just flawlessly done. I personally LOVE Skyfall and thought it was this set of films big budget blockbuster entry, and don't mind QOS.

but man Casino Royale really set the tone for the direction they were going and it showed.
I'm not saying the new person will fail by any stretch lol and I love other Bond films, but for me I feel like Daniel Craig will always be my favorite Bond All Time

It's all about the storytelling though and if they got fresh stories like CR, I'm always gonna be in.

i could easily see fassbender and/or elba being better bonds..

only movie that gave me faith that craig could pull of bond prior to him being bond, is this:

Skyfall had some seriously cringe moments, especially the cheap nostalgia, but also had some of the most powerful moments of the Craig as Bond saga.

I hope the direction of Bond 25 aligns more with the CR style but I’m not holding my breath.

QoS was a step back to me because it reminded me of 90’s Bond in it’s pacing & storytelling.

And after coming off of CR and the direction that film went in, big letdown.

bardem’s character potentially being interested in Bond was funny and entertaining. I agree, Casino Royale was magic and had everything we’d want in a Bond film. Eva Green was amazing as Vesper and the character was so important to the development of 007 and not just a fling. It kinda spoiled us for any movie after and had us expecting more of the same greatness.

Out of AAALLL the possible and worthy candidates that are out there and that even we’ve come up with, they choose this chick.

My fingernails are longer than her IMDB. I don’t even remember her dialogue from Captain Marvel like that.

A KEY characteristic of James Bond and 007 has always been his suaveness and charm with the ladies. I’m all for progressiveness and inclusion of all people in media but is NOTHING sacred.

We got a retired Bond, new female 007, Blofield returning, Malek main villain.

One thing that caught me off guard and still doesn't sit right with me is the main character for Star Trek: Discovery is named Michael Burnham. The main character is a black woman.

I guess they trying to get away with it being in the future but I aint never across in any other ST series a chick named Michael

They may be trying to make that a thing though. Just name her James Bond like there's no issue.
