I asked where you got the stat from all the extra is completely unnecessary. The articles posted are not reputable and it is an extremely small sample size especially considering I could just say the month shaq missed in the 02-03 season the Lakers went 14-2 and Kobe scored 30+ each game on top of a 9 game stretch of 40+. But I didn't because that's just dumb. Fact is Shaq needed Kobe just as much as Kobe needed shaq. Period. Shaq was putting the team on his back against Rik Smiths and the like, while Kobe did nothing on the perimeter and didn't play any defense against Iverson and the like. Correct? I mean let's be honest. Kobe contributed very little, did not pass, and was the demise of the team. Even though that's not supported by facts at all. Funny thing about stats, which is why you need to actually watch the game, I can skew them to fit my argument. Since basketball is not a simple sport and there are plenty of factors that go into a win/loss using simple reasoning...like you and other detractors have tried to, its completely idiotic. Which is exactly what I said from the beginning. Maybe you should go back, watch the games, and analyze what ACTUALLY happened. This may be too hard for you to grasp without being biased so quick, name off the guys who have reached the plateau of points, assists and rebounds Kobe has. And then name me the separate ones for each category. Then name his position. Oh yea and while you're at it go ahead and name me the guys who shot MORE than him. Then when you're done with all that check his defensive stats. Come back and tell me what 10-15 players have accomplished what he has.
