Just cause she is popping in magazine doesn't mean she's a model. Look at all the fashion and most magazine now a days, they ask have known people (actresses, singer, etc). You aren't calling Adele a model or are you? She's been feature on Vogue , cover at that.

I think you're thinking too hard or confusing the model profession... What makes anyone a model? Do you have to be "fulltime" to be considered a model? Do you have to do runway shows to be considered a model? or is modeling or being a model based off directly with your beauty, and an exchange of income for your beauty?
Vogue is a fashion magazine, so essentially anyone covering Vogue can consider themselves a "model" even if done once.. fashion+modeling go hand in hand.
