i think its only rude if your blastin ur music while checking out and its obvious that you're not paying attention to the clerk. But say you leave yourheadphones on and have the volume low enough so you can hear the clerk / bagger (if they got em) than i don't see a problem!. It's only rude when thecashier is talking to you or whomever the employee is and your just standing there giving the stoneface.

It is rude if your blasting your music so hard that your forcing other people to listen to it.... even if it is through your earphones...

To avoid this problem I used to walk around with one earphone in the ear.... because 2 earphones appears like your trying to not be social, which im avoiding..but now I listen through my bluetooth, no one knows your even listening to music... granted it takes away from the experience buy these days I dont want toappear too much into my own world, even if i am
