I NEED HELP! I OWN A TRAP HOUSE! *UPDATE PG. 4!*

I thought you meant a straight up trap house

but I bet someone would buy that crib, clean it up a little, make it presentable. The market is hot and from im seeing, people are buying up anything and everything..

Put those awnings up on Craigslist. You can make a cool *** buck. That candy striped one just screams post-modern vintage. They stopped making them after the second world war.

I really ,really appreciate that advice, I think I'll get an inspector to check it out then way .my options.

I'm leaning towards keeping it and just putting the money and work into it.

Again I really appreciate the input.
even if there's issue, people are buying stuff up.

once you get an inspection done, see what houses on the street are selling for and go from there.

if its paid off and left to you, its all profit but don't sell yourself short for a quick easy sale.. its a sellers market

Sorta kinda.

I can measure cut and nail.

I'm smart enough to learn.

I've done a little plumbing (pool work)

And a little carpentry and concrete (silo slip work)

I also have some railroad repair history.

I'm good with hands but it's always been under someone else's guide.
Then seems like you in a good spot to dig in and research/youtube, get some fam to help every now and then, have some patience. Hell what you learn from this might get you the know how and connections to start flipping others for profit.

Aww man, you’re good! You could learn to fix up that place easy. For now though, paint that baby and do the yard work meanwhile you get things figured out.

curious what the inside looks like and state or even city its in

looking at the pic in the OP.. it doesn't look that bad TBH

Talk to an inspector, talk to a realtor and see what’s comparable in the neighborhood and get an idea of what potential numbers you could rent for, then talk to some contractors and get some quotes. As long as you can afford the initial investment, I would keep it. It’s not everyday a house is just thrown in your lap.

I'll be back tomorrow with updated pics.

Going to meet for a yard clearing estimate tomorrow.

The more I think about it......

Plumbing and electrical is really the only thing I would to hire someone for.

Man I'm thinkin!

Again thank yall.

Fix it up and rent it out! If you don't want to deal with it, hire a property manager, they'll take a ~10% cut

I feel like you could learn alot of the hands on stuff through google and youtube DIY videos alone.
