Anyone found some cases and screen protectors for the low haha? Im diggin my pad. I went out on Saturday at 8 am and spent all day on HP SMB, didn't get. Went to best buy at 9 and got hooked up with 3

they got a site with stickers for the back, high quality ones. carbon fiber, metal print. they were expensive too

Update 11:47am CST 08/23/11:

At this time all remaining TouchPad inventory is on its way to our stores and will be arriving throughout the week.  Best Buy will no longer be selling the Touchpad on BestBuy.com, or any other Best Buy channel other than our stores.  We cannot share specifics on the timing or quantity of these shipments.  As soon as a store receives shipment, it will be merchandised on the sales floor and will be processed on a first come first serve basis.

ordered mine from Bestbuy on Sunday morning.

received confirmation email, a couple hours later received an email saying my pad was backordered.

the next day i checked the status and it was saying processing, called BB cust. service and they too said it was processing.

received an email later in the afternoon on Monday saying it was shipped out of OH.

now it should be on its way here by Wed.

wish i could cancel my onSale order but its supposedly shipping soon.

and i also have a demo unit from radioshack that i will have to try to unlock soon.

edit: i just called my best buy, before it rang, the recorded message said "if you are calling about the hp touchpad, we have sold. we do not anticipate getting anymore inventory of that product". i know who's voice it is too. those dudes there are so shady...acting like theyre apple employees when you walk in their cpu section.

if you're calling to check on your order, it may be a waste of time. this lady from hp went from 400 followers on sat, to 4000 on sunday to 12000 on tuesday.

well i received my order confirmation. and it says it was suppose to ship out yesterday but no shipping info is availbale.
also my bank account doesnt show the transaction there anymore when yesterday it did. who knows . i already hung up lol

i went to three walmarts, two targets, and 1 best buy this morning (to the small town stores outside of charlotte) asking if any of them got a new shipment in. target did a good job of showing the product never existed. all the walmarts have an empty spot. and the best buy jerks can spot me from a mile away with their smirks. odd thing is, the walmart folks were the friendliest to me. one even told me where i might have a better chance (but i ain't trying to drive down to rock hill, sc).
