High School Friends After High School

Punched one of my friends in the mouth when I was drunk because he kept messing with me (Him being quite larger then me you know I wasn't having that ****.) Told him a few times to stop then and he wouldn't so then I went crazy. Since then none of my friends in that circle really hit me up, and if I hit them up I kinda get pushed off, **** em'.

I just seen one of the dudes from my high school basketball team at the local gym and dude gain hella weight, seems like time really did its job on him. I've seen many people from high school and some are beyond what they seem to look like. :x

QFT. Wait until you get married. I play ball with my boys once a month.

i always thought guys were bigger than that you know?

I'm the same kind of way, like people have to learn to respect personal boundaries, and after addressing something so many times there are only so few options left.

had a similar situation but it wasn't even an immediate friend in the group but an outside family friend of theirs.

long story short we squared up and dude caught the beats. and i always wondered would we still have drifted apart if i lost the fight

its funny this thread comes up. i was just partying with some of my "high school homies". they are just so different then the "college homies". :lol we hit the ratchet club this weekend, its always fun kicking it with them every once and a while but them cats is to wild. ratchet jawns in the club appreciated tho :D

you know the saying " the older you get the less friends you have" this is especially true for the fact that HS held people together, once thats gone, their gone. still have them as FB friends but nit the same obviously.

i went from 50 friends hanging out everyday to only about 2 different cliques of 5 friends that ill only see once or twice a month and we have to plan to go out and what not. thats life for you

The 4-5 people I was close to are still the only people I consider friends. We meet every week or second week.

Don't see anyone anymore, wasn't really apart of any of those groups in hs I was the outsider

Graduated 05 from high school. Still chill wit some of my friends. Got about 2 friends I still see on a weekly basis. Everyone else. Idk

we are all still very close, its been 10 yrs since hs.

theres nothing like hs friends

graduated since 08', ummmm.. all friendships haven't turned out well :( I've actually maintained friends with an NT'er named davidme00 who I still talk to on a daily basis

My group was like 5-6 people and thats pretty much the only friends I still have until this day.

Dudes are pretty much like my brothers.

Edit: Actually it was 8 good friends I had.

1 died and the other we had a dumb falling out over something petty as hell :{

We use to hang out every other day then all of a sudden we just didn't

I'm 30, Graduated HS in 2000. Majority of my close friends are from HS, about 8 of us and we are going 17 years strong. Band of brothers, rent it sometime! :smokin

Nah man I've lost contact with all of them.

I've met new people along the way...but I'm still dolo mostly.

I only "talk" to a few of them every now and then. My college friends > my high school friends. Spending most of four years with them built bonds and experiences that I didn't have with my high school friends. Although we are all over the place, we chop it up regularly. Most of my high school friends didn't go to college after school and began working immediately. Some are doing good for themselves and are already starting families. Some have veered off and are doing terrible. We have nothing in common except what we did in high school and even then it wasn't much. I still harbor a lot of resentment toward my old school for intentionally botching my transfer so that their statistics would look good. I wish I had that good group of friends that you'd still kick it with from when you were children.
