Right now the defense is doing a decent job of adding doubt to the prosecutors case. Detective removed some evidence from the crime scene, how do we know he didn't change anything else? There's more knives missing from the site, one of those could have been used in the stabbing. The forensic guy has been wrong before, he can be wrong this time as well. The State needs to come up with something that solidifies him doing the act for the jury to have no doubt in the conviction.

Naz will be free but won't be able to continue to tutor because of the case.

Can't find a decent job because of his corny tattoos and crack habit.

Tries driving a cab like his pops but people recognize him so that's that.

He goes back to Freddy and asks him for help.

Freddy says he'll get rid of all of Naz's parents debts if he agrees to swallow 3 balloons and sneak them into the prison on his next visit.

Naz agrees.

Naz completes his mission and just when it seems he's in the clear he develops a stomach ache.

He's rushed to hospital but is DOA from an overdose.

There were actually 4 balloons instead of 3.

Got me confused when they talking about who was showing Naz the ropes and giving him advice.

Sticky Fingaz gave him that early advice the first 2 eps in Rikers I believe then crazy dude helped him out for like an ep and a half?

Let me contribute. The inhaler was an important point not because it proves Naz's innocence but because it casts doubt on the prosecution's objectivity. Simple enough.

Yeah if I was on a jury and a detective admitted to removing stuff from a crime scene I'm going to wonder what else they took or added

My theory on the relevance of Stone's feet to the show:

When he had eczema, he was a social pariah. Nobody was close to him or wanted to be around him. When his feet were cured, basically nothing changed. He thought when his feet were cured, he'd be able to be "normal" again. Still, his son wanted nothing to do with him and Chandra ignored him when he showed her.

When Naz was convicted, he became a social pariah. People in the prison wanted to kill him and his family+community was severely impacted negatively. When(if) he is found innocent, he probably thinks he could go back to living a normal life. However, his mother will probably believe he's guilty and want nothing to do with him. Also, people recognizing him and his prison hand tattoos will make it unlikely that he'll be able to go back to his normal life. Also his family+community would still be negatively impacted.

I think this theory makes sense because the point of the show is to illustrate the problems with the justice system. One problem being, when someone is accused of a very serious crime and found not guilty, people of the general public often still see them as guilty.

Just finally caught the latest episode. I don't know what to believe anymore.

The perfect ending for me is that Naz gets freed, hooks up with Chandra, remove his tattoos and grows his hair out and move to Belgium with Chandra where no one can bother him.

we have yet to see stone in action really. I think he's going to come through with straight facts. Everyone doubting him but surprised at how thorough his defense is. The jury will look like they are really siding with the defense, He'll think it's in the bag nicely Saran wrapped but will lose the case. Nas will later get exonerated for the muder after they check the deer head camera but by then nas is too far gone.
