:xIt says sin on the right hand and bad on the left hand, for "Sinbad".Not sure what this show is going for.
The 'Bad' tattoo is so damn cheesy.
The nickname he adopted from Freddy in the beginning.
Even cheesier.
I dunno man...I feel like the story needed more time. Some of the character shifts were too drastic. Now Chandra is going in for the kiss in a cell? Am I the only person who thinks this was just the best way they could find to put Stone back in the spotlight.
And I was scoffing at the dialogue during the questioning of witnesses on he stand. That back and forth, snappy, conversational tone ain't going down like that in court.
I think I expected too much of a procedural after the first episode and this show is more about individuals than an accurate depiction of the system at this point.
Yea lots of wasted valuable time. Assumed that since we knew it was 8 episodes it would move along but the show dragged its feet. Glad the finale is 90 minutes but it needs to be like 3hrsWhat bothers me is that there is only 1 episode left and there is still about 3795973739 loose ends left to tie and every episode opens up another can of worms, this one with Chandra kissing Naz....like wtf son this is nearly the end of the season and now we exploring a possible romance between Chandra and Naz?...
That was the whole point of it. A green lawyer trying to act as if she was Matlock up there that caught Box in a coverup. Her reaction after Box freely admitted he gave Nas the inhaler showed she was gassin herself. Even the DA's look after the OJ quote knew it was cringeworthy. Not that dumb? The scene before she was making out with her defendant. Not only was it cringe worthy, it made no sense. There was no correlation to the asthma pump. And even if, in the defense of a murder case, you're invoking the image of a man who most in this day and age consider to be a murderer who got off. Like, what? I know Chandra supposed to be a rookie but she's not that dumb. That OJ quote was cringe worthy
I just assumed Freddy owned most of the guards or had an understanding anyway.
Bro there are so many questionable things happening in that courtroom it's laughable.
In prison as well. Like all these special privileges and free roam Freddie has in there. And the woman grabbing treats out her snatch and handing them to Naz in front of the whole room, no way in hell that doesn't get seen.

this is easily the worst theory ever
So Naz is basically Norman Bates?I think that he did it. I'm not sure if he'll be convicted, but I'm positive he did.
What stood out to me was the P.E. teacher's description of Nasir's demeanor after he threw his classmate down the stairs. It was something along the lines of "not being there." I think he has episodes in which he blacks out for periods of time with no recollection of what he has said or done. Add this with his violent behavior, and it starts to become apparent that he did this.
And then you factor in his mother. The show portrays her as having been convinced by the prosecution of her son's guilt, but I think it's more so due to her knowing that he has a history with blackouts and violence, and her simply putting the pieces together.
For me, personally, the mental health angle makes too much sense.

I remember Naz's former boy said that the water isn't too hot but hot enough to make Ramen. It's when they throw in the baby oil when it can burn someoneContraband gets into jail all the time so I think in that regard a little suspension of disbelief is fine. The jail scene that threw me was the hot water. Just readily available and waiting to be used on someone. Maybe a kitchen area wasn't part of the budget for the set.

Further drives home the point that Box is a scumbag. All the "crimge worthy" court room moments are definitely on purpose.
It's written that way, not to show how smooth they are, but aren't.
Even with them bringing up the "sub conscious" and discussing that. Box definitely isn't just trying to put this case behind him. He actually did want to help Naz when he brought the inhaler, he knew he needed it but also that it would dirty the crime scene. This was his sub conscious at work for real, because since jump (IMO), he knows Naz isn't the guy, and the evidence against him seems so strong that he can't trust Naz team to get him off.
You can see how inept they are, and they're far better than what he would have got from a Public defender.
I think the writing is brilliant, I feel like I see the picture they are painting, or trying to paint.
No television show that claims to be entertainment has any business running at the pace of The Crawling Dead. With only 8 episodes this show has no business running at the pace of The Walking Dead
It moved at a snails pace until they wanted things to actually happen, and then it went at breakneck speed with Naz turning into a prison goon overnight. With only 8 episodes this show has no business running at the pace of The Walking Dead
I'm no chemist but I'm almost positive oil cannot make water hot. It can only help it retain heat. So in order to burn the water needed to already be hot enough. Anyways, it's not worth dwelling on. Just a little thing that could've been done better.I remember Naz's former boy said that the water isn't too hot but hot enough to make Ramen. This show would've GREATLY benefited from more time. Like I said before, if things like the cat and Stone's feet aren't relevant and are only symbolic, this show wasted far too much time on them.It moved at a snails pace until they wanted things to actually happen, and then it went at breakneck speed with Naz turning into a prison goon overnight. With only 8 episodes this show has no business running at the pace of The Walking Dead
I really think they should have either gave the show more time to expand, or cut all the bells and whistles that have just been eating away at time that could be used making Naz tattoos and drug use more believable.

I wonder what the actual time frame was from the murder to the trial?
I assume near the end Naz will get high on heroin and then remember everything that happened as the final scene.
