Yeah, this is going to be a great series.
EP1 had great cinematography, emotion & casting. Man Pedro & Ramsey are the ones!

That "a*****e" from Elle was , brought back memories from the game. Ton of callbacks too.

Hoping this show doesn't mimic everything 100%, but so far EP1 was A+.

Dropping everything at once doesn’t generate any hype or get people talking for months. There’s a reason HBO has some of the biggest shows.

Chernobyl was a damn near masterpiece so no shock this is gonna be another hit. HBO does it again

Good first episode and I really liked that changes to the story. Definitely added more depth to the characters, especially Sarah.

Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Oh, I liked how they filmed the series at what it seems to me as 60fps.

Excellent start to the show.
I liked the little nods/Easter Eggs to the game as well as the change-ups.
And obvs they are gonna have different scenes for the world/relationship-building, but that's all good so far.

And me every 2 mins when I spot a game scene/reference.
I loved how they kept the 'hardcore drugs' line.

It'll be interesting to see how they pace the game vs the show.

The scene with the old lady convulsing was great foreshadowing. I was screaming for his daughter to run. The feels later on .

That shot of Ellie standing up when Joel was beating up that prison guard was nicely done. Good contrast with how his daughter originally reacted to him killing the neighbor earlier.

The series premiere was excellent. I liked how they expanded on stuff instead of just trying to be a straight-up shot-for-shot adaptation.

Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey are so good in their roles.

I can't wait for the next episode.
