Yeah watching someone else play the game is nowhere close to the immersion of playing IT yourself.
Playing the games develops the characters in a way the show can't.
Looking forward to seeing how they delve up the plot of TLOU2 across season 2 and future seasons.

I’m excited. The trailer was well done. Can Bella pull off Ellie from part 2 cause she’s a different beast. Also more infected is always a plus

There are some games where a watch-thru will be sufficient... but for this game, one should def try to experience it, if they can.

Bella was good as Ellie in part 1. The only thing I worried about is Ellie is so much bigger and older in part 2

I think we probably discussed it in the Alien thread...
But, yeah, I didn't know who Cailee was when Bella was cast... and Bella is a great actress, but Cailee as Ellie would have been so good.
And I think Cailee is even a better fit for Ellie in TLOU2.

Even Kaitlyn Dever as the Ellie in TLOU2 instead of Abby would’ve been good, but Spaeny would’ve been a home run. And yeah Bella is a good actress I just don’t think the casting is good.
