I'm sure these donations from Weinstein lawyers had absolutely nothing to do with Manhattan DA Vance dropping prosecution against Weinstein even though police had him on tape.

It's not the first time Vance is looking funny in the light either. He received a "donation" from a Trump lawyer too after dropping a fraud case against his daughter and her husband. A case in which the investigators had email records from the involved individuals admitting to and coordinating to mislead buyers with knowingly false inflated numbers to boost sales.
Surely this same thing happening with Vance dropping the Weinstein prosecution and then getting a big donation from one of the lawyers is just another coincidence.
Makes you wonder how many other solid cases that DA has dropped in exchange for donations
