That black elk figure still creeps me out every time it pops out.
Hate that the teaser spoiled how morpheus connected the dots with the doggie bag tactic. Anyway cant wait.
I feel like he knows Hannibal is the LeBron of this, and wants someone worthy, like himself, to do the job? I mean...I don't wanna say he feels bad for Will and knows this'll be the last hit that knocks his sanity out, cuz I doubt he has empathy for anyone. Why is Gideon helping the dude used him/set him up to get killed?

And yea, I didn't like that, either.
AXN covers most of the production costs of the show, so NBC really isn't getting hit hard in that department. The production value for the show is top notch but the photography of the show is the best I've seen on TV in a long long time. I can't think of a TV show that I was impressed with visually as I have been with Hannibal.
That's the thing that worries me though. It probably costs a lot of money to produce this show. If the network doesn't see a return on it's investment, i can't see them continuing with the show. If it does end up getting canceled, I'd like to see Netflix pick this up (or a platform like it).
This show really is too good to cancel. I'm still amazed they show why they do considering this is on a broadcast network.
its conceptually and visually stunning. seems like every episodes cost a couple millions to make. acting is just as good if not better than True Detective.Incredible show
Its kind maddening when you think how True Detective became mainstream so fast and few people watch Hannibal mean

Also, several countries like Germany, Switzerland, UK and Australia bought the rights to broadcast the show in their countries, so unless the show goes full Dexter in terms of quality it should be around for a while even though it doesn't pull in huge ratings.
No way the show goes downhill because the source material is too great. Supposedly they hit the manhunter storyline next season and then into the silence of the lambs after that.
I wonder who they have in mind for clarice.
I don't want to spoil anyone not familiar with the books/movies
So
It's obvious Morpheus survives that stabbing.... I'm just curious how they pull that off while having Hannibal get away at the same time.
It also stinks that they weren't able to clear the rights for the black orderly character. He should have been there from the get go.
How eager are you to get Clarice Starling into the series? Would we have to wait until you get to The Silence of the Lambs, or were you thinking about teasing her earlier?
Well, right now we don’t have the rights to the character.
Oh, really?
No, no, because MGM has the rights to any character that originated in Silence of the Lambs, and Gaumont has the rights to any character that originated in Red Dragon. So there are a few characters that MGM has told us, “No, you cannot have [them], because we don’t know what we’re doing with them.” There was originally going to be a Clarice Starling series, but I’m not sure what the status of that is. I’m secretly hoping that by the time we get to Season 5, which would be the Silence of the Lambs era, maybe some deal could be brokered between Gaumont and MGM where we could co-produce a series that has both Will Graham and Clarice Starling in it, but I just don’t know if they’re ever going to let us do that.
But if we don’t get the rights to the Clarice Starling character, we will introduce a similar character, Shmarlice Shmarling, that won’t get us sued, that will give us the same dynamic that that character is. Because she’s such an important character to the canon, and it would be a shame not to get her, so we’re hoping. But that bridge is far, far off yet.
