Anyways, I'm not particularly strict on keeping my skin smooth, but I do recommend using a pre-shave lotion...A lot of people just wash their face then shave but that will lead to razor bumps, even if you use after shave..Especially if you have sensitive skin..I know Nivea makes a good pre-shave facial wash..Check it out

^^^ or I'd suggest dry shaving with a Styliner/T-Liner. My face is as smooth as a new born babies +%+ and I've never had a razor bump in my life.

Agreed. And the best thing you can do for your face is get a moisturizing lotion with sunscreen. I like Aveeno.
