Pretty much. I think dofp beats out stuff like Thor 1-2, IM2-3. While it still IMO isn't white what I want out of an xmen movie, I can't say it wasn't a solid film despite my high standardsDays of Future PastHahahaha... Gotta understand the state Marvel was in back in the days. Think they filed for bankruptcy or whatever so they didn't really have leverage in bargaining with anyone.^That negotiatiin is what im tahm bout. According to a few o grace's old videos Sony basically owns Spidey if insider rumors are true.
Did Marvel have lawyers when making these ridiculous deals?

Lol didn't read the exchange behind you and sunshine - just read his quote and that was it - my bad. Right on for the clarification. Damn that was a bad deal..Lol no, you're misunderstanding. Marvel made a deal with Sony a decade ago yes. But there was recent renegotiation between Disney and Sony to make the terms of that arrangement even more beneficial for Sony.
You two are taking about two different deals.
Sony and Disney are very buddy buddy right now. Fox and Disney seem to be on each other's throats

JayPesoz, it probably wouldn't make any sense for Spidey and the Avengers to join together at this point.
There was a big alien invasion in NY, and ASM2 makes no mention of it. It'd seem weird
Stuff always happens in NY. Maybe he wouldn't have to mention the alien invasion because it's just what happens here.

I wouldn't buy that.
ASM 1 & 2 could've taken place before Avengers. Plus, it could've also happened while he was on hiatus after Gwen died. Just throwing some suggestions, I'm sure they could make it work and fit the timeline with minimal work.

Not gonna happen. They have movies set up for the next 3 years and are kicking around the idea of having an Xmen/FF crossover. And when I think about it, they have plenty of characters to do itASM 1 & 2 could've taken place before Avengers. Plus, it could've also happened while he was on hiatus after Gwen died. I love the way you guys are thinking honestly New York is the home for all of Marvels heroes. So much stuff happens there from Alien invasions, to symbiote infected humans running rampant to planet eating entities coming down with their heralds that the NY's citizens have become somewhat oblivious. Marvel still covets spiderman especially since he's the center of the Marvel universe, Marvels 75th anniversary cover should've hinted toward that. And as far as FF I'm confident that the movie will suck. And if Marvel isn't backing them for a while with any merchandise or appearances in any of the animated series Fox will budge off of them soon enough. After Fox tells it's apocalypse story, I don't see where else they can go with Xmen as well. Fox will cough up rights soon enough. The xmen can only tell so many stories without other marvel heroes crossing over and Fox can't make that happen. And They don't have the balls to attempt an X-Force film
Fox already said they are going with how the XMen was formed with the original members after Apocalypse.
I mean really, if you say that there are no more stories to tell then you've never read XMen books, hell you probably never seen the saturday morning cartoon because they can pull at least 10-15 stories from that alone.
I think XMen has more story potential than avengers. I mean after the third one, what are they going to do? Civil war? WWH? Stuff with Sentry?Fox already said they are going with how the XMen was formed with the original members after Apocalypse.

i do t know if is call them failures. They both cost 100mill to make and both made 300million. So while they arent in the upper tiers they're respectable box offices.Spiderman and X-Men will never not be Sony properties, that one is pretty much in the bag.
Fantastic Four, on the other hand
given it's previous failures, and the fact that they have completely wrapped filming yet they didn't show a second of footage at comic con tells you that this upcoming movie might be a disaster. That MIGHT have a chance at going back to marvel.

I know this is the GotG thread but what's "known" about AoA so far besides Magic Mike as Gambit?
“We sort of reset the clock on Days Of Future Past. And so a lot could have changed from that point in 1973 forward. Meaning, people could have been born earlier. The whole world changed after those events. So things that were represented in X1, X2 and X3 wouldn’t have happened in quite the same way.”
