Grailed Marketplace Official Thread

Bought a jacket from a dude on grailed. Paid right away and he said he would ship on a Thursday. I think I bought it on a Wednesday. Saturday rolls around and I say, "I'm assuming this will go out on Tuesday since I haven't received and shipping info"... Monday was a holiday. Dude responds with some smart *** remark telling the post office is closed on Sunday.

So I respond with a smart remark like "yea, no kidding". This guy proceeds to go off talking about under no circumstances does he have to drop what he's doing to ship me anything. I'm literally laughing as I'm reading his response and tell him I'm just asking 1 question based off what you said... Yadda yadda, guy apologizes and I get my jacket.

I know most people aren't like this, but dude kinda turned me off the site. All my other transactions have been reasonable.
Yeah, this is one of the rarer cases.

Examples like this makes me extra careful as a seller. I take pictures of:

- the item I'm selling

- the address of the buyer (so they confirm it's the correct address)

- the package when I send it out

I also follow up after the tracking says delivered to make sure they got it. I can't deal with a buyer going MIA and not giving you a heads up.

Bought a pair of kicks from dude last Friday and asked can he ship the following Monday dude says yes this whole week he's giving me excuses and I hit him this morning he says his mom shipped then I ask for the tracking ro response. Do I go through PayPal to get my money back ? **** is really annoying because I paid $500 for a coat and the process was smooth as hell and this dickhead wants to be the person to turn me off from the site

Hit up the Grailed support team and also do a Paypal dispute.

These morons should be permanently banned from Grailed.

some dude tried to scam me on grailed i got my money back and they banned him.

grailed customer support is pretty good but paypal is who will get your money back

Plenty of NTr's have been on grailed since the beginning. There just hasn't been an "official" thread.

Copped a lv wallet. Dude had over 100 review or whatever its called. Dude never shipped. :{ got my money a month later after waiting for shipping and dispute :{

Most experiences have been good,I have actually picked up some steals but lately it's been a little annoying. It seems like even people with good feedback are scamming.

When they ask for measurements = 100% not going to buy

Not always. I ask for measurements cuz im either xl or xxl depending on the brand and cut/fit and i wanna make sure i get the right size.

Sending offers and not paying or responding must be at a all time high

Maybe it's only happening to me lately :smh:

Nah, grailed has been buns for the past few months. Bunch of broke boys on there.

Fact. Over 20 people want the item, but none of them buy.

I got banned from grailed, but need to get back in to buy those $1 Jerry Lorenzo stuff. :lol

salty resellers...how yall mad at how people spend they money?

Why watch the item if you're not gonna buy. Then they send some low ball offers more than 50% off the asking price. Then send offers and when agreed upon, you don't pay. If you just want an item, but you can't buy it now, take a screenshot or bookmark the page. Grailed is filled with a bunch of broke boys irresponsibly spending their parents money and hoping to get nothing for something. Before I sell something for nothing , I'd rather have it sit in my closet and dry rot.
/End of rant

Just poking around this thread and this definitely hit home. I've been buying and selling on Grailed for a few years now and strongly agree with all this. Whether I have a hyped item for sale or just something I want out of my closet, the unwanted lowball offers come like crazy. Dudes really feel that entitled to tell you how to price your stuff.

I've always been of the thought that if I'm not wearing or using it anymore, let someone else enjoy it - I feel like I offer pretty reasonable prices, but dudes always want to push it. It is what it is I guess.
