GOING TO VEGAS IN A WEEK VOL: Help me with my experience...

Excalibur is a hotel/casino.

I went to the Excalibur show for Sadie's a couple years ago. They serve cornish hens :rolleyes

The show was funny though, HAZAAAAA!


If anybody wants tickets for discount I got 35% off at a lot of shows with my student ID so hit me up.

OK well here are a few spots that are reasonable and good.

Fat Greek - there are ALOT of different and ok Greek places. My personal fav is Fat Greek. Authentic, very tasty, priced well, even a cool/low-key type atmosphere. Helps they serve beer inside too lol.

Bahama Breeze - This is like a carribean/italian fusion. Pasta dishes, good island food. Good drinks, very good envirnment. Some nights you can catch alot of pretty ladies in there, and i believe there is a dance floor in a seperate room. Very Island feel inside, priced good since i order one of the most expensive dishes and its like 15-20 bucks.

Montana's Meat Co. - This right here is a hidden gem in Vegas that not too many know about, Its a low key bar/restaurant (a million in vegas) their Decorations are football friendly ( Steeler Country) This is a little out the way of the strip (Blue Diamond/Durango st) But its well worth. VERY cheap and quality dishes. Im talking $5 burgers but not that premade/frozen casino deals or McD's. Immaculate breakfast specials from 5$ Country fried steak to 7$ ny steak. Those are just specials which they have others, Havent even tried the MAIN menu and ive been there a milion times lol. The deals are so good and food its hard for me to look at the menu to buy a 15-20$ steak. Remind you, this is called a "Meat Co." And i can vouch that their meats are good and not all processed tasting.

Pop's Philly Cheese - There are a few different Philly spots, me personally like Pop's over the best by far. They cook it right in front of you, which is always a plus for me. They have some homemade BBQ sauce that people sleep on, you put that on some cheez whiz fries and you GOOD. lol Sandwiches are like 7-10$, good priced and good eats.

Hash House GO GO - This is a very cool spot with Exquisite dishes at good prices. I tend to goto the location in the M resort Casino, Ive seen plenty of Celebs there. There burger is crazy good and Chicken/Waffles are immaculate. Good thing about them is they have multiple locations.

Farm Basket - This is a cool spot, They have a drive thru which makes it easy to take your meal home. If you like good fried chicken, good mashed potatoes, just good ole American food then this is a good spot. Not all greasy, more of a baked/fried chicken. Crazy good Orange rolls and all at a good price. Why spend $10 on a 3pc meal at Popeye when you can get better quality for the same price.

Port of Subs - Im from MICH and havent seen these everywhere so im not sure if they have these in your hometown either. Its like a subway, but with WAYYYY fresher/healthier looking ingridients. There wheat bread is the best ive had in awhile. They slice the fresh meat/cheese in front of you. Always love to see my food made in front of me. Very reasonably priced too.

M&M's Soul food - They seem to get a bad rep in Vegas. Now, my family from the South and I know soul food lol And since Ive been here, closet to my food is either M&M's or TC's. Ive only been once, but i will vouch for their Oxtails/greens/mac&cheese/kool-aid. All were good, still hot even when i made my 15min drive home. Service was ok, very busy so it took a little. Little pricey for soul food in my opinion, but still ok priced nonetheless.

TC's Rib Shack - Another soul food spot, Ive been to multiple times and i like. I don't eat pork and they have beef ribs which are immaculate. Mac & cheese on point, Good service, good desserts at good prices.
 
is there a place to see knights or jousting while eating? (don't know why i'm so obsessed about it :lol: i guess i just want to see a show while i'm eating.)
i could have sworn there was a place like that in LV

also isn't LV the home of the best/biggest strip club? :nerd: :evil:
like 2 stories 50-something girls dancing i think it's called club panther or rino... something with an animal

Knights jousting would be at excalibur
The biggest strip club is Sapphire although Spearmint Rhino is what you were thinking of.
 
So i went clubbing for my girls 21st, which was real cool. Besides the BS i ran into at Bellagio. I personally DONT recommend HYDE, they were TOTALLY unprofessional and really flat out racists. So me and my girl walk up to get in, no one in line. We get to the front and this security guy tells my girl, "drink some water and come back in 15min" this happened as I was looking at all the prospects in the casino. I didnt know what that meant at first till i put 2 and 2 together. I try numerous times to get this guys attention as i get ignored, and the ONLY security guy of somewhat color comes up to me and asks whats the problem. I tell him, he says the cameras saw my girl stumble. LMAO she is in heels and we've been walking around all day, literally had 1-2 drinks since midnight just hit and we wanted to go out. So they were basically saying she was too drunk, hmmmmm but as this went on 3 white guys get let right in, drinks in hand, one is PLAIN sight wasted. Never have i felt so disrespected, Made me feel THAT much better i won around 6k last year in their sportsbook. Never again will i spend a penny in that establishment.

Pure was pretty DOPE, Chateau as well. Moon in Palms was wack, maybe because it was a Tueday.

Hustler just opened this or last year, that place is huge. Never been, but i heard the place was real nice. 
 
is PH a good place to stay for college aged kids? its 4 of us and we're booking tomorrow for december 14-18. help me pick out a nice place!!! its gonna be my 21st
 
if you want to spend money, want a place girls is going to want to come back to, want a place thats ill and has a young crowd then go to the cosmo.

you can do just fine at any hotel on the strip but i truly believe that place is something special

i didnt really like the rooms as much... i was also considering the palazzo bella suite

First off, in Vegas, you don't know who is industry and who isn't. Those three white guys very easily could have been industry people, especially if they had drinks in hand (even though I find it vERY hard to believe a club would let them walk in with drinks in hand, once they got in the door). And please don't blame it on race. People get turned away from Vegas clubs for all sorts of odd reasons. And even then, they're more accommodating than clubs in any other major city (they're huge, plus they have tourist reputations to uphold). Next time, get in contact with an actual host at a venue. It's a much smoother entry process, and they'll take care of you, even if there's a huge crowd.

anyone who went to any of these shows can you tell me how they were and were they worth it?
 
PH is nice, the bedroom has a hot tub big enough for 4 people, hopefully not 4 dudes.  Nice projector tv, good size table for drinks and a fairly large lounge area with a long L shaped couch.

you won't regret PH. nice room, nice casino, nice shops, Fat Tuesdays, nice pool, but thats irrelevant this time of year
 
Disagree on Palazzo. Almost always stay there and the girls are BAD. Easy work bringing them back from Lavo/ Tao.
 
What websites are you guys using to book rooms with the best rates? I am trying to stay in the middle of the strip next month. My first thought was PH. Trying to spend less than $200/ night. Thanks in advance.
 
talking about penthouses? i've only been to one at the Palms, but it was

.  own little pool on the balcony, own bar, rotating beds, gym equipment, **** was amazing, and im pretty sure thats not even top 20 penthouses in Las Vegas
