GOING TO VEGAS IN A WEEK VOL: Help me with my experience...

So I'm heading to Vegas Nov. 13-16th with the wife to take some time away from the kids. We are looking to do a relaxing old person trip. No clubs, dancing or anything loud and crazy. Anyone recommend some good shows or sights that would fit with our relaxing old people theme?

Also check Le Reve at Wynn. But yeah, do a couple nice dinners and a show or two. Vegas isn't just about nightclubs, gambling and getting wasted. There is so much to do. Honestly, I'd like to do one trip where I just ate really good dinners, and went to a club maybe one night.

So me and my roomates are going for a weekend, getting there on a Friday leaving on a Sunday. We are all in our mid 20's and will rage the entire time (dance clubs, drinking, hopefully yambs)

-Is there a difference between the Palazzo and Venetian?

-Would you pick Palazzo/Venetian or Vdara? ...We are looking for a hotel with a young crowd, quick access to clubs, and of course young yambs walking around.

Pallazo anmd Venetian are seperate but connected. So staying at either gives you access to yambs at both locations.

Vdara is one of the newest/flyest casinos so it will always have young yambs running around.

I say Venetian, you have alot of action at that end of the strip with the Wynn being right next door and Mirage right across the street and down a lil. Check out Tao

I say check out Mt. Charleston for a different look at Vegas if you're into the Mountains/scenery. Take nice hikes, go fishing, bike trails. And you can drive not too far back to more city life. Good go kart tracks, rock climbing, you can always goto old vegas (Fremont) and its more family orientated. Zip lines, roller coasters.

Palazzo has bigger rooms, and it's newer and nicer than Venetian. In terms of proximity, it's also closer to Wynn/Encore. Basically, you have five solid-to-great clubs to choose from that are very convenient if you're at Palazzo (Tryst, XS, Surrender, LAVO, Tao). You can even toss in 1 Oak across the street at Mirage.

Don't stay at Vdara. It's more family-oriented, doesn't have a casino, and it's just too far out of the way for "quick access" to clubs.

All true, Personally havent been to Vdara yet. I wouldnt call it out the way, since its next to Cosmo/Aria and PH is right across with Bellagio next door to Cosmo.

For club purposes/yambs though, he is right about Palazzo. I always catch Mayweather there too from time to time, thats his spot.

Venetian no question.

Vdara is nice but doesn't have a casino or any nightlife. Venetian and Palazzo have pretty decent sized casinos, Tao and Lavo and the Wynn properties close by.

But if you're looking for the most young yambs walking around it's gonna be at Cosmo.

heading to Vegas later today. Will be there till Friday. Any good hip hop spots on or near the strip worth hitting on weekdays?. dont plan on driving but will take a trip if it's worth finding a spot or two to party. Brother is going to a conference so i'm just crashing out there with him. . What else is there to do on weekdays???

Hows the weather in february? Is it really in the 60s? Jacket/hoody type?

Day time you should be able to rock a t-shirt, but at night you'll want something warmer. However, that's only because I'm coming from a place that's 20 degrees cooler during the day, so 60s in Feb feels nice.

For hip-hop, I think Marquee Boombox Room is open on Thursdays.

Palazzo is my spot. dmbrhs hit it right on the head. The ASIAN Yambs are definitely at Palazzo/Venetian properties. Would recommend to Anybody looking for a nice hotel.

Palazzo and Cosmo are 1A and 1B IMO, depends on which part of the strip you wanna be located at....
