Gator snatches 2 y/o at Disney Resort #FLLiving

Alligator digestion is sped up because their stomach acid has to quickly putrefy the prey's bones or else it can kill the animal. Dudes are arguing that retrieving the body should be given added importance, when in reality... There will not be much to retrieve at this point. The closure you all think these people want is closure I doubt they'll ever get. The kid was eaten, fam. I can't imaging wanting the image of whatever's left of him being burned into anyone's memory as the wild life folks cut the animal's organs open and pull out whatever ligaments "remain".

Bruh they just pulled a body from a gator in Florida 2 weeks ago after finding decomposing limbs hanging out its mouth. Dudes body leg was caught in its teeth.

There is "no question" that the 2-year-old taken by an alligator at a Disney resort is dead, a sheriff said

Honestly I wouldn't want my half eaten child remains, but too each his own.

I mean if you didn't know where your child was you definitely would.

I know logical Internet argument guy is gonna say he's most likely a goner at this point but as a parent you would need that closure. It's not really about having the physical remains in your possession.

Just them saying "we found the remains" would be enough.

There is NO WAY for humans to know if gators have feelings because we are judging them from OUR perspective

Yall have to stop telling people how they SHOULD feel.

Some need that closure

Others don't.

Why can't yall respect other people's ideas when it comes to that?

First thing- use your brain lil momma. Alligators been around forever and they aint going anywhere.

Second thing- dont ever call me waves. My name is wavy daddy.

If yall dudes are feelin sad for some alligators yall are some soft cats man. Its not like they are killin all the neighborhood dogs or a animal that is never a real threat to humans.
360s,

Listen.

Gators being around forever means what? It is cool to just kill them? Oh since they aren't going anywhere we shouldn't feel bad about it?

Damn. Wonder how the alligator even got the kid.

in b4 "where were the parents"

Ummm....well, it was a 2 year old child

I think homeboy means how did the alligator get to the child. As in, what location did this happen in that the kid was vulnerable to attack.

Was gonna say " ahhhhhhhhh, gotcha " until I scrolled and saw this:

What a way to go :{ A toddler at that

Picture of the lake this occurred on:

The family of five from Nebraska was on vacation and wading in a lake Tuesday evening when the attack happened

.....

The attack happened in an area of the Seven Seas Lagoon where "no swimming" signs were posted, Demings said.

If this is true I think they should throw the book at the parents.

:x :{

you are great at what you do man.
Nice way to flip it. I am having a real conversation man.

As I said many times in here, stop telling people how they SHOULD feel.

If my child got eaten by a gator, I don't want to see any remains. My "closure" happened when it was official that the gator ate the child. Why the hell do I need to see the remains?

But that is ME.

Everyone is entitled to find closure in their own way.

There is no right / wrong answer here

LMFAO!

okay go feed your cats, lady. I'm out

I take it you don't have an actual answer to the question.

You know how often "studies" are put out about how humans "have discovered" that _____ (insert animal name) actually has feelings?

Meaning, we don't know WTF we are talking about most of the time when it comes to how other animals think/feel.

Without knowing the time frame from when the gator tried to eat that guy, the size of that guy, and/or the approximate size of that gator, you can't compare these two scenarios apart from the fact that an alligator ate a human. A two year old is, at best, 3 feet tall. They couldn't get a clear estimate of how big the gator was, but my guess would be it's obviously big enough to have consumed the child. Otherwise, I'm sure they would be able to spot it, as it would have limbs hanging out of its mouth. Again, assuming that the child's already been consumed, digestion doesn't take that long for a gator.
