Gator snatches 2 y/o at Disney Resort #FLLiving

I'm waiting to see if charges will be considered for these irresponsible parent. I'm outraged poor four gators were killed because of their poor parenting skills.
Ah ok. Your tone sounds like you're trolling. I'll let you cook. Do you...:smokin

You realize where this man-made lake leads to right? This isn't a man made swimming pool :lol
Even more of a reason why the parents should be held accountable for their irresponsible behavior.

not trolling just outraged like folk were outraged about the gorilla being killed. I guess I'm exhibiting selective outrage like others.

This hasn't happened before, not that I'm aware of, at the resort so the parents are at fault. Same logic with the gorilla pit mother right???

It's not right we held the parents accountable in the gorillas mistake, but of course we hold the gators responsible in the PARENTS mistake.

One kid is dead. The other isn't. Yeah, let's immediately go after these irresponsible parents! Yall keep reaching...:{

I mean if the parents were paying attention maybe their child wouldn't end up like that. Let's just say the gorilla parents got lucky, but these ones didn't, and yeah its unfortunate but they should be held accountable just like the gorilla parents.

Why not hold them accountable like we wanted to hold the other parents accountable?

This is different tho.

One is a beach where people usually play/hang around at.

The other is an enclosure where no one is allowed.

We'd be singing a different tune if the family in Ohio was on a vacation in the jungle and their kid was killed by a gorilla.

BTW: One animal is near extinct while another has literally millions roaming an entire state.

A sign warned them of no swimming.

I get your point on that regard, but lie I was saying they were warned of no swimming. So why allow a 2 year old child near the water?

I know nature is uncontrollable, but there should've been a watchful eye to keep him from going in there. Just like the gorilla incident had she been watching her child nothing like that would've happened.

When my kid was 2 there was no way he's by water without holding my hand.

I made a Facebook post about how it's a shame they have to kill innocent animals because of irresponsible parents , when the child was obviously already dead, and I felt it was wrong for them to kill the gators, and people got MAD butthurt..... Lmao

It amazes me how the same people who shout "don't take our guns!" (Nobody is trying to take your guns, we just think if someone is on an FBI watch list and has been investigated , shouldn't be able to purchase guns so easily!) are the same people who get so offended by people saying the parents are irresponsible and we shouldn't have had to kill the gators, the same people I see supporting Trump. Blows my mind.

People arent attached to gators. Gorilla's? Eh, more than gators. Yall know where im going with this.

Plus, gators are known to be harvested so I mean, people generally wont "care" as much for the gators killed in search for the boy.

In south Florida Gators are probably the most common animal. Take 41 from Naples to Miami and you'll see them every two seconds along the road.

Someone was telling me about this today, I didn't realize there are literally a million gators in Florida.
Oh and the video with the cats... I still think those gators had their mouths wired shut somehow.... But damn, cats truly have no fear .

Yeah. It depends on the time of year too. But if it's not winter those dudes are out in full force. I barely see them over 5ft of so though. It's not like you see those dudes like the one hanging off the tractor.

Yeah, I asked who thinks this is acceptable parenting on the first pages of the thread.
Might as well bring it back up.
Who leaves their kid in/near a body of water?
Who leaves their 2 year old unattened in a bath tub?
Don't understand how leaving your kid near a lagoon would make any more sense.

I understand nature happens but that's the parents fault too. Unless the gator snatched him from your side and took him from your hands it's on them. A 2 year old at 9pm in the water without the parent holding em is crazy.

the hypocrisy and double standards being used in this and the gorilla case are just
sick.gif

i just searched #lanegraves and #harambe on twitter and the difference is immediately apparent

like mental gymnastics white ppl will go thru when its one of their own is just
