Gator snatches 2 y/o at Disney Resort #FLLiving

Child's full body found intact. Looks like the gator drowned him.

Father fighting the gator did have an impact... Maybe they can find some solace in that but I know they going through it.

Serious question, with all the bad **** that has happened in Orlando this week do you guys think this is going to hurt tourism?Summer just now kicking off and it's a huge tourist destination.
Most people that are/were going to Orlando this summer probably have already booked.
Yea, taking my son to Disney in July. Confirmed everything couple weeks ago.

So the gator drowned him, didn't eat him..

So we were killing and dissecting all these gators and none of em had anything. :|

This is just awful. R.I.P to that poor little boy. I can't even begin to imagine what the parents are going through. :(

Now that the body has been recovered, I wonder what dollar amount Disney will offer the family to try and move forward from this...

I was just at Disneyland last week and it was super packed so I googled how much they make a day and it's somewhere in the 50-60 million range. :eek

I wouldn't give them anything if I were confident in my legal team

The negative press/backlash Disney would receive from not offering any type of compensation is probably not worth it to them... They've probably set aside upwards of 5 million towards this already. I've seen people get paid more for less.

Yeah. A couple mill is fractions of a penny for Disney. Better off just giving the fam something.

Had some on a trip to florida.
It tastes just like chicken.
I hope the meat doesn't go to waste.

It's good, but I prefer baked. It's actually one of the leanest meats out, but when you deep fry it it just takes like chicken, fish, or whatever kind of flour mix you deep fried it in.

There's a place in Orlando called Gator Land where they have gigantic ones, and you can eat them, or after the show pay 10 bucks and go take a picture with one, dude catches it then calms it down by covering its eyes then tape its mouth shut with a thin strip of electric tape (the agonist close mouth muscles are obviously super strong but the open ones are amazingly weak) and you can come sit on it and take pics. I wish I could still find mine. I was doing work on Tindr with that pic. Made me look like a badass commandeering a soulless beast of an animal plus like I travel and do boogie things which is what Tindr is all about as far as getting a match, in addition to being fine of course.
Mmmmmm oh yea humans taste good too

Especially if they are recently bathed and under 50 years old meat be nice and tender

Some of the best meat in the world.
