Game of Thrones prequel series: House of the Dragon

Make it a series of young Rob and Ned just getting into hijinks like young obi wan and anakin

they'd find a way to kill off Ned in the second episode.

Shakespeare really the goat(next to the bible). Got storytelling in a stranglehold for 400 years.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that this show feels very Shakespearean. Some of this is just a function of a bigger budget/not having to do lots of different sets in multiple places like in GOT. When you can show grand castles and just more people (GOT had way too many scenes with two people on a lonely set talking. in Medieval Europe people rolled deep, there would usually be a lot of people standing around in rooms in a castle or in village square) and you constantly show the high, royal stakes and supernatural powers that the protagonists can wield, you can afford to be in almost constant drama mode without coming off as too cringe or too try-hard.

It's also clear that Dave and Dan were absolute hacks who ruined almost every part of GOT when they were not directly adopting the ASOIAF books or plot notes, BUT they created such a great series of scenes when they did the Bravosi theater scenes. Real good stuff and half of it was cut from the show. here it is, in full.

Been trying to stay spoiler free. Came across a TikTok with Joffrey talking to Margery about Rhaenyra...bruh, leave it up to Joffrey to still be annoying me even in a completely different show :sick::sick:

Stay safe, my spoiler free-brothas and sistas.

Been checking out this series UPRIGHT with Milly Alcock. She’s quite brilliant innit.
8.4 on IMDB
THATS HIGHER than a lot of Critically Aclaimed Series ratings.
