Forget the fact that he's a Wizard for a second...John Wall's rookie season

The top PG in the league thanks to his athleticism, size and playmaking abilities.

Shun, you kinda have a creepy man-crush on dude

After his injury, Wall started to wear leg protection like Wade/Rose....he also got his Reezig's modified because they were giving him issues from the time he signed w. the company.

It's growing pains w. the Wizards right now....but they'll be headed in the right direction in 2 years or so. Just gotta get the other pieces of the puzzle around Wall.

*Prays for Perry Jones*

He's good and will be great, but John Stockton's record isn't getting touched.  To put it in perspective, Wall would have to average 13.2 assists/game for 15 years (assuming he plays an average of 80 games per season).

I'm hoping so...talking about "he'll ALWAYS have foot problems"

"Man Sit Yo %$# Down"

They have 12 wins this season. Wall's played in 9 of them. In those 9 games he's averaging 16 points and 10 assists.

Their 3 wins without him in the lineup are against Toronto, Memphis, and Charlotte. All sub .500 teams.

Wall is having a great rookie campaign.

Sidebar, Capt. Kirk was the critical reason the Wizards beat the Kings in OT awhile back. Wall's defense was horrible (avoiding fouls will do that) and his iso jumpers weren't cutting it.

Rookie assist record is in reach

Mark Jackson's rookie record for assists per game: 10.6
John Wall assists per game: 9.3 and trending up (11.3 per in January)

The guy really does have an incredibly advanced feel for the game, especially at his age. Once he learns how to harness his athleticism, and slow the game down he'll be great. Not worried about his shooting, his mechanics are fine, and his solid FT% is indicative of future success on his jump shot.
