If I have a taste for crab CAKES, I don't say, "Let's go get/eat some crabs."

I would prefer the crab cakes, because I love crab cakes, but she is right for sure

Plenty of foods has surpassed the originators, so authenticity doesn't matter

I had a non authentic crab cake before and was not impressed.

But I watched them make it and they mixed the hell outta it with a utensil.
From my understanding authentic crab cakes are mixed very carefully with your hands as to not break up the chunks of crab.

I've yet to try an authentic crab cake

Seasoned with oyster sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, seasoning sauce, dark soy sauce, and sugar.
