FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

How there's no shake shack in the bay area still baffles me.. I know there's one coming but it should not have taken this long for such a big market

The name shake shack actually comes from the ride that John Travolta and Olivia Newton John rode in grease.

Shake as in shake ya tailfeather

They originally sold hot dogs
Learn something new everyday..

Shake shack is my favorite burger joint over in n out and five guys

Can't really call it the goat goat since it was the first time I had goat but it was excellent.

I could eat that a couple of days in a row.

Goat is too gamey for me. Can't do it.

Even lamb, something about lamb that I don't really enjoy.

Wouldn't want to wait much more than an hour, but I understand that it's part of the "experience."

I'd be going on either a Wednesday or Thursday.
Then I suggest you go early if you plan on checking it out.

I think the avg wait time is about 1 1/2 to 2hrs.

Ive had lamb that tasted like farts....ish was nasty.
either way bad meat or not prepared/cooked properly.

I don't mess with it anymore but lamb is pretty good and usually people I know who don't mess with anything other than beef or chicken have tried it and loved it,
