All that taco talk influenced me. Lengua, al pastor, and carnitas:

BJ's has some really good & soft baked cookies top. I don't think I've had Costco cookies. Might get some soon.I like Costco chocolate chip cookies.
They also have a variety pack of the chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and white chocolate macadamia (damn good as well).BJ's has some really good & soft baked cookies top. I don't think I've had Costco cookies. Might get some soon.
You may be confusing middle eastern food with Indian food. Chicken Tikka masala is not middle eastern food, it originated in North India. So are you looking to delve into Indian food?If I want to start branching out and eating middle eastern food that isn’t Chicken Tikka Masala, who got recommendations on what to branch to next?
Please ignore my ignorance bro, I come in peace and willing to be educated. You may be confusing middle eastern food with Indian food. Chicken Tikka masala is not middle eastern food, it originated in North India. So are you looking to delve into Indian food?

Yes, looking to get more into Indian food.
Any additional information you can give about the differences between Indian food and Middle Eastern food would be great as well!
Pretty much. In my experience Korma is milder spice-wise and creamier, but still has a ton of flavor. I love Korma dishes.I need to try chicken korma. Its similar to tikki masala but a different type of curry no?
Idk if it’s related but I used to like with an old lady (we rented a room from her son who owned the house, weird situation) and she used to make rice with spices and goat meat and offer it to me.If you like rice dishes try biryani
Rice, spices, usually some type of meat
Idk if I’m ready to take suggestions from you quite yet but go ahead and leave them if you wishDo you mean Indian food? There ard so many options to choose from.
Chicken tikka masala is like the general tsos chicken of Indian food.
Nice, I’ll grab some to try out too since it’s good.I bought some of that 2 step on amazon. It's legit.
I wonder what his blood pressure is. He's heavy handed with the seasoning.
Nah bro, it's all good the more we know the less we don't know. It's actually confused more often than not by a lot of people, lol. Indian food . So first the history lesson, lol. Middle Eastern food is related to that region of the world known as well, the Middle East. Saudi Arabia/Iran/Iraq/Lebanon/Israel/UAE/Bahrain & few others are the countries associated with that regional food. Please ignore my ignorance bro, I come in peace and willing to be educated.

A+ post. Great info.Nah bro, it's all good the more we know the less we don't know. It's actually confused more often than not by a lot of people, lol. Indian food . So first the history lesson, lol. Off the top of my head the popular dishes that come to mind are Hummus/Baba Ganoush/Kofta kebabs/Peede(idk if I spelled that right)/Falafel/Manakeesh just to name a few. "Indian food" is mainly foods from India but it's also a blanket term to group all Indian/Bengals & Pakistani foods. It's the Southeast Asia region of the world. Bangladesh come from Pakistan which came from India so the food scene is very similar. I myself am Pakistani.
India is a HUGE country & the foods differ from North to Central to South India. North India will have plenty of meat dishes but South Indians are mainly vegetarian as is 45% of India's population(due to the Hinduism religion) & cow being a sacred God to them.
A lot of good suggestions have already been made by others but I'll still chime in. Appetizers you can have veggie or meat samosa. It's a triangular shaped fried food & either spicy or mild depending on your preference. There's channa chaat, chilli paneer. For meals there's beef/chicken/lamb kebab/bhindee(okra)/aloo(potato/daal(lentil)- hundreds of different types/Nihaari(meat curry)/Haleem(also a meat dish)/Gobi(cauliflower)/chicken masala/chicken karahi/chicken boti/chicken plao/biryani- can be had plain or with meat. Our breads include paratha/roti/naan/kulcha/butter naan/garlic naan etc.
Desserts- kheer- rice pudding/mithai(lil square or circular shaped sweets) such as gulab jamun, kaala jamun, burfi, meeta Mohan, rasgullah. Also there is rasmalai which is milk & sweet ricotta cheese like balls immersed in it. We have savaaiya which are basically angel hair in sweet milk.
The list goes on & on family. If you need any additional info let your boy know .
I've read that too but I question it because how could it have originated in the UK when Indians in India were making it before the Brits came & colonized India? The dish has always been around on the Subcontinent decades before they were invaded. It has absolutely nothing to do with Bengali chefs from Scotland that's that bogus info that's fed onto Wiki.I actually heard chicken tikka masala originated in the u.k. by Indian immigrants. Wiki says could be from Bangladeshi chefs in Scotland.

Oh & also I have posted a plethora & ton of pics in this thread with Indian food. Especially that one restaurant out in Long Island called Sarvaan Bhavaan which is South Indian so 100% vegetarian. If you need pics or anything lmk .P
Preciate you bro.

Been drinking more ice tea lately because I’m trying to get off carbonated beverages and don’t always want to go with just water with meals.
Anyone on here have some bottled ice tea brands/flavors they really like?
Yo! I've always wondered wth that aluminum on the sweets was, lol. I had to Google it just now & it says "Vark (also varak or warq) is a fine filigree foil sheet of pure metal, typically silver but sometimes gold, used to decorate South Asian sweets and food". There's a few different mithais that Indian Paki & Bengali bakerys will use that on top of. Apparently it's called silver leaf on English & is very hazardous to our health . Lucky for me I'm very picky with my mithai so I've never had the silver leaf kind. I enjoy gulab jamun, kaala jamun & rasgullahs. What about you? None of those have it on em. And you're right it's usually those diamond shaped kind that I see it on. https://m.recipes.timesofindia.com/...ealth-hazard/photostory/67058493.cms?val=3728what are the diamond shaped little sweets with the silver foil on top? i love those. always ask my mom about the name but then end up forgetting
pandas (penda, peda) are damn good too
