Yea that is some Prime Mariko Mentality there.Cookies for dinner is abominable.
Can't trust any grown adult who does that.
We saw it and laughed like “who would buy that” cause obviously i can use a knife to cut a cookie into 1/4 pieces. We got it as a joke mainly but ended up using it and somewhat enjoying that we have it.What?
Fasho. It’s really easy
They sell a cutter there for a few bucks that cuts it into fourths, we bought it for no reason at all but use it every time we get cookies cause like I said I eat it a bit at a time. Still trynna lose weight overall so I try to track as much as I reasonably can.
I’ll post it next time I do but only if you heart eyes react it instead of sad faceMan you ain't cutting no cookies up into 8ths.
4ths, Sure.
8ths? Nah. We need proofs.

Lmk if we got a deal
I’m legit rollin at this thread rn
Insomnia is hands down the MOST overrated cookies ever! Had some years ago from their LES location(vowed to never waste my $ on this brand ever again) & the cookies tasted exactly the same as Subway cookies to me. Them things weren't cheap either. Not necessarily bad cookies just overrated through the roof, in my humble opinion.Levain cookies are good, but not 4 for $29 good. Saw that last time I went and I took my *** to Insomnia instead.

This all makes sense. For example to establish a Mexican eatery in The Bronx or The Heights can be possible but would be insane competition from Dominicans & Puerto Ricans. On Roosevelt that'd be a whole lot easier. What is pernil? Speaking of yum Latino cuisine I drove by a Colombian Bakery near my gym...going to stop in sometime next week & see what's up there. Any idea what those fried Colombian dough balls are called? They are a dessert food.More expensive here to start a business be it a food truck or restaurant and also here they aren’t the dominating Latin American culture. Here they compete with generations of Puerto Rican, Dominican and Colombian immigrants and the new waves that come every year that already have family and networks established. Speaking as a Latino from immigrant parents I mess with Mexican food but presented with a plate of mole and tacos or pernil, rice and beans I’m taking the pernil.
Oh Subway cookies are damn good . Just meant the price Insomnia charges for a similar cookie I'd rather just get em from Subway but then again they do have the custom flavors going foe them. Snickerdoodles does sound good & can't be found in Subway.Subways cookies hit though.
And when I go to Insomnia I only get snickerdoodles. Legit my fav. I aint looking for some fancy schmancy type loaded cookie with an oreo filling, chocolate chips, covered in nutella with frosted flakes on top.

Ahh I see but unfortunately no-can-do as pork is forbidden to us in Islam. Any other recommendations? Veggie wise. What is pernil? Bruh go to an El Presidente or something in the Heights and just order white rice and beans and pernil, with skin. It’ll be like $8 and youll be full for 3 days. Basically roasted pork.

What you described at the end sounds like CHIP, lol. Chip ruined cookies from me but in a good way. Their cookies have set the bar so damn high that anything less seems like a waste to me, lol. Cookie dealer comes close in terms of thickness & flavor choices to Chip.

Dawg. You know damn well those tacos and pretty much ANY tacos are better than taco bell. Stop it.
Lol I can imagine. LES be getting lit, too lit sometimes, lol. You're from around there?Yeah, it depends on what you getting, but they slap after a night of partying over there.
Lol I was expecting a nice list of veggie choices & than I see the "No" . Your spot was able to keep the mini lunch @ $5 even post pandemic? Given the economical mess we are in & inflation rising the prices of pretty much everything A-Z, that's kind of impressive. Walmart's baked bread was a dollar & just a few weeks ago they up'd it to $1.78. Gallon of milk was a great $1.75...will see how much it is now my next trip out there next day off. Do you or any of your friends/family know any "halal" Dominican/Latino spots? There is La Estacion out in Brentwood, Long Island but that's Latino food being cooked by Pakistanis . Halal Latino joints are far & few but there's plenty of Muslim Dominicans & Latinos in general all over NYC so there HAS to be a 1 or 2 hidden gems out there. I must find outDamn. Any other recommendations specially veggie wise in that Spanish food realm...
No. Their baked chicken is good, my spot has a $5 “mini lunch” with rice and some protein, I get baked chicken and its pretty damn good and “mini” is ridiculous cause you put it on a regular plate and its a mountain. But nah man a lot of Spanish food I get is pork (Pernil) or that chicken.
