23soles 23soles what's the word on that Reserva De La Familia? I almost scooped a bottle when I was having trouble finding my beloved Fortaleza (which I eventually nailed).

I’ll preface this with, I’m more of a scotch and bourbon guy so my palette is less refined when it comes to Tequila and I was several drinks deep by the time I had this. That said, I have owned 1942, Avion 44, and clase azul in the past and can say that this was just as, if not a bit smoother in my opinion and I enjoyed the charred oak and hint of vanilla flavor quite a bit more - dark, rich, easy sipping. Almost like a bourbon.
 
Utilizing some of that cilantro pesto I got at the farmer's market over the weekend for a sandwich: chipotle chicken, pickled red onions, cilantro pesto, spicy mayo on a mini baguette.
