It was pretty good. It was thick but not super thick. Like thicker than gumbo roux. The crawfish was inside the etouffee the crawfish on top was just garnish. I had beignets too but... there was no survivors.

One month into my new house, and I officially caved and bought a microwave. Had been using oven/stove/air fryer to re-heat stuff for the last month, but started to get a bit annoyed. Microwave just makes certain things much easier.

I personally don’t like reheating things in the microwave. Alters the taste and flavor to me in a way I don’t care for. But I don’t look down on anyone for using a microwave

There was talk about them in here a few months ago and the level to which they are necessary/practical.

microwaves are fine. just depends what you're re-heating. not about being a snob or elitist, it's about ruining the leftovers
