I actually went with the light well fries as recommended by many. They were decent. Nothing spectacular.

Burger without fries is just weird, no matter how bad the fries.

calibeebee i started on medium high heat with olive oil in a nonstick pan then dropped the heat after first contact. Added the butter on the 2nd and last turns. I think the key was a good rest after and letting the dry spices penetrate a bit before cooking.
