Howlin Ray's in Los Angeles.
The bread sets it off. I have to get to this place in a few years, once this "stuff" clears up.

Who on here was JUST talking about denying food when it is offered to you? The DUMB game you have to play with people's parents that offer you food that you DON'T really want to each for whatever reason(s).

ahat ahat being forced to eat "Chitlins" would be funny

We clearly talking about two different thing if you're referring to the video I posted
You need to rewatch your video here so u don't have to search:

pay attention this time.
1. The definition of fruit exists.

2. If YOU decide to ignore IT for your own personal reasons, that doesn't make the definition not true.

Read the definition of FRUIT and bananas qualify.
1. a fruit is the seed-bearing structure in flowering plants (also known as angiosperms) formed from the ovary after flowering.

2. Platanos r pretty much potatoes w/ seeds. So they're a veggie. Fruits aren't dry & dull like veggies. Platanos are dry & dull like veggies b/c that's what they. They were misdefinitioned b/c they look like something more popular. You can't make banana chips... but you can make platano chip. You can make oh... uhmm... potato chips.

3. I completely agree that bananas qualify as a fruit; we never disagreed on that.

Neapolitan pizza slander :smh:

I’m gonna pick some up soon to rebuke this foolishness

1. U shouldn't b/c they aren't the same.

2. Nah

3. Guiding folks to the light me I can.

4. Doesn't seem like u get it.

A Plantain IS a banana. It is a TYPE of BANANA.

Again, it IS a FRUIT that is USED in a non-traditional way.

That doesn't make it NOT a fruit.

You are the one that doesn't seem to get IT.

Did you use real grapefruit juice instead of grapefruit flavored soda?

normally real. But my options were limited due to last minute planning, the rona and a husband who hates grocery shopping.

didn’t have limes or grapefruits smh so I made it work with lime juice, grapefruit juice and grapefruit soda

Vegetables are important sources of many nutrients, including potassium, dietary fiber, folate (folic acid), vitamin A, and vitamin C.

"Plantains (Veggie) are nutritionally very similar to a potato, calorie-wise, but contain more of certain vitamins and minerals. They're a rich source of fiber, vitamins A, C, and B-6, and the minerals magnesium and potassium."

"Bananas (Fruit) are a healthy source of fiber, potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, and various antioxidants and phytonutrients."

Platano's contain th same nutrients as vegatables b/c they're... vegatables.
I didn't say they weren't.

What don't you understand? How can I help?
The woman said they ingredients, I repeat the to you, and you said those weren't the ingredients.
need to make a food discussion thread

more pics less what's a fruit discussion

who gives a ****
complains about food discussions in a food thread, entitled(ly) demands more pics, yet doesn't post a pic himself. lovely.

Absolutely not. Please be respectful.

That situation was covered a long time ago by the Sugarhill Gang in 1979 with their hit “Rappers Delight”

Ever went over a friends house to eat
And the food just ain't no good?
I mean the macaroni's soggy, the peas are mushed,
And the chicken tastes like wood
So you try to play it off like you think you can
By saying that you're full
And then your friend says, "Mama, he's just being polite
He ain't finished, uh-uh, that's bull!"
So your heart starts pumpin' and you think of a lie
And you say that you already ate
And your friend says "Man, there's plenty of food"
So he pile some more on your plate
While the stinky food's steamin', your mind starts to dreamin'
Of the moment that it's time to leave
And then you look at your plate and your chicken's slowly rottin'
Into something that looks like cheese
Oh so you say "That's it, I gotta leave this place
I don't care what these people think,
I'm just sittin' here makin' myself nauseous
With this ugly food that stinks"
So you bust out the door while it's still closed
Still sick from the food you ate
And then you run to the store for quick relief
From a bottle of Kaopectate
And then you call your friend two weeks later
To see how he has been
And he says, "I understand about the food,
Baby Bubba, but we're still friends"
With a hip hop the hippie to the hippie
The hip hip a hop, a you don't stop the rockin'
To the bang bang boogie
Say up jump the boogie to the rhythm of the boogie the beat
