FOOD THREAD VOL. GRUB LIFE

What is your ratio of Soy Sauce to Vinegar? I made some Chicken (Boneless thighs) Adobo 2 weeks ago and it came out much better than the first time I tried.

I used a CUp of Soy and 1/3 of VInegar.

I added corn starch to thicken it.

Yes, with rice. Brown.
Pro tip for Adobo: add some water until you get a perfect balance between the soy and vinegar. An OG put me on to that and it has worked out great.

To piggyback off what DC posted, be sure to check Omaha Steaks' website. They've been running crazy revolving deals all week for a "stock-up" sale, with free shipping. They change the deals, and some packages have been selling out, so no guarantee what will or won't be there when you look, but they've had solid deals in the $60-$80 range.

What did you end up getting?

I found a pick-your-own pack where you took 1 thing from each of several different groups for $79.99. it's just me, so I didn't need to go crazy. Ended up grabbing...
4 - 4oz top sirloins
4 - 4.5oz chicken fried steaks
6 - 4oz burgers
8 - jumbo franks
2 - 12oz packs of beef meatballs

EDIT:. Looks like that package isn't listed any more, but I was able to dig up the link to it if anybody is interested...
