Not an authentic dish in the least, but I'd eat the **** out of that. His explanation of black beans and its substitutes was silly though. No way I'm using chickpeas for something like that.
That's basically what they do with actual wings though.
White meat chicken is pretty flavorless on its own, so I'm kind of confused as to why you're drawing such a clearly divided line on non-meat alternatives.
