Eggplants got nubuck eyelets but they messed up the color

I have no idea if it really is, but I feel in my soul that Gentry is somehow to blame for this.

I actually really like the new color. Yea, the old color is definitely better but these actually look great too.

Just don't call them Eggplants

Eggplants are varsity purple though. These versions don't have the dark, iridescent effect and look bland.

It is justifiable to make it different from the previous Metallic Red release. I still can't get over putting leather on the White Foam Ones

I love matte Foams. I also love some metallic finishes. However, what I hate is the plastic shiny look like the Knicks Foam, Big Bang Foam, etc. they just look cheap as hell.

The Anthracite and Olympic Foams have beautiful matte finishes.

Threads are overall more enjoyable w/o him.

I'll give him his credit though, he is very knowledgeable when it comes to sneaker history and past release dates.
