Flyknit Chukka Thread

After wearing my Free pair out of the house I wish I had gone with my size 10. My Lunar size 10s are too small so I upped .5 and now can't return em of course.

get a wet rag and a brush and clean the bottom and bring them back

So I am about to purchase myself a pair. The 12 Lunars are too tight, the 12 frees are loose but I am a 11.5 in the free's.

Crazy cause I am a 12 in Jordans, 12.5 in Trainers/Racers and 13 in Foambs/Lebrons.

Guess it's all about the toebox cause the frees do have a wide toe box.

You have very weird feet.

Tried that.. cleaned with Jason Markk and a little Oxyclean but after walking the dog through the park that dirt isn't coming off that white sole

Went ahead and steamed them and now the fit is do-able for sure. So if you're like me and get stuck with .5 up pull out the steaming iron and go to town.

free sole has absolutely killed this shoe for me.

sad. i have no more interest in these new releases at all...oh well.

Is the free sole that bad? I've personally never worn a pair but I like the look and it can't be the horrible can it?

It super low to the ground. Personally I feel like it messes up the shape.& they are not as comfortable

Free sole is terrible. I didn't think I'd mind them too much, but I returned my pair with the quickness.

The only thing I've heard about the free sole thus far is that it's low to the ground? That just doesn't sound like that big of a deal breaker but you guys are scaring me lol now I'm wondering if I should just get a lunar pair customized to look like the GTP

Everyone's different, for me the free sole is 10000000x times more comfortable, brought me back to my interest in the chukkas. I can't stand the Lunar sole, one of the most painful shoes I own.

are you flat footed or you have an arch? this might play the factor

The Free sole feels different. The version that is on all the new Free chukka releases (Free 3.0?) is perfectly comfortable, but feels like a Free, but if you've worn Lunars, the problem is that the Free feels very constrictive and more rigid, where the Lunars feel super soft and extremely flexible in all directions. I found the 5.0 sole on the Uni Golds to be extremely comfortable, much better than the Free sole they are using on these new FK Chukkas. I bought the Volt / Orange color way because I couldn't resist the combo. The Free sole is ugly as hell in my opinion, but on that orange color way, I can definitely live with it.
