Just received my Volt / Total Orange Free FK Chukkas today. Completely awesome colorway in hand - super happy looking. Actually made me smile spontaneously. Kind of reminds me of an orange julius. Strangely, the left shoe has a crease in the toe box. I'm going to try the iron+towel steaming method mentioned on the previous page. If anyone else has bought this same color way, I'd be curious to know whether you feel like the stitching is a different material than usual. When I compared it to the black / platinums and my night factors, the stitch threading definitely feels different. Kind of has a matte almost powdery feeling texture to it. BTW, bought these from FootAction, and they shipped the box in a big loose shipping bag, and the box is super-crushed on all the corners and the lid is only hanging on by half when you open it. Not great shipping at all.
Update: Clothes Iron on medium-high steam worked great. I had some really crazy hard creases all around the toe-box and they came right out. I stuffed the toe-box pretty solid with the paper stuffing, laid a small hand towel (terry type of material, it should not be thin or translucent) over the area I wanted to de-crease and I put the iron on it and went back and forth over the crease about 4 or 5 times, no longer than 5 seconds or so. I then lifted the towel to check on the crease. I repeated this process until the creasing relaxed. I think the key is - don't stay on one spot very long, repeat the step, but never overdo it on any given area without giving it a chance to cool down. And absolutely use a thick enough towel.
