Oh well ill have them tomorrow. Wore my Citrons again today and the shoe is getting comfier by the wear. Also, the leather is getting softer too, although only creasing minimally on the sides. Toebox still look CRISP.

thanks for the feedback on the photoshop guys, it's fun photoshopping these into acceptable colorways that could have easily replaced the garbage the tried to force feed us.

^ Thanks guys! Glad to see you all are digging my take on Medicine Balls. I wish I could have been in charge of color choices for these.

WOW those are awesome, remind me of the Philly Nike Air Alpha Force colorway. Now if  Nike only made these with premium leather like the QS strikes.

Nike appears to hate using the same exact palette for all colorways.. They change things for the sake of change. They don't need 15 designers or aritsts trying to think up of a way to make a TOTAL ORANGE COLORWAY... Just use the infrared and citron as your core base and work from there.

It's simple but to save ones job or to even have jobs, they complicate the hell out of things to accomplish something different.

Some of these PSs are looking decent. Med. balls have too much brown for my liking. You pretty much can't compete with the OG model color blocking so you would have to go with a white tongue, outrigger, and strap. And that would mess the look of the SC II. So some shoes are just better off with their own colorways. I've literally spent dozens of hours in PS trying to come up with something decent. It's not really happening. The OG setup are those colors because they were likely chosen as the best at that time.. They need to be a one time wonder with a lot of these retros and not force anything. Any PS that I have done looks forced..

I see where you are coming from. The reason that most of the colorways released flopped is because they chose DULL modern colors. I feel that they should have chosen a wider spectrum of colors to choose from. The reason that most retros flop is because Nike slaps the same colors on all of their models while totally neglecting their past. Each colorway should have their own story to tell. My colorways all draw from Nike's past, colorways that have stood the test of time and have had proven themselves to be classics.

I definitely see what you're saying about the Medicine Balls. too much white on the shoe wont work. You cant perfectly replicate every colorway on every shoe, so you have to adapt. Sometime it pays off, some time it fails. But at least you have a better chance of making a sell to the newer generation.

Btw last colorway for the night, Clorophyls

Still don't understand why people said go half a size up.

I don't see why they would fit any different than the trainer sc 1's or huaraches.

Yikes.

Bi polar feet for the not win.

Normally you have to go a half size up in trainers with the straps, or they'll rub your pinky toe and might be tight. These aren't as narrow in the toe area. The QS seems to be a little narrower than the GS versions.

I have the QS's and GR's and find it to be the opposite. I thought I needed to go up a half size for the GR (don't have these in Canada so I guessed) and they fit great, a little roomy but not too bad (ie heel is locked down without the laces done up). When the QS's dropped, I panicked and got what I could and ended up getting a size 10 in the Infrared's thinking I could stretch them out if needed. Turns out they fit great and have no pinky toe rub for me.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone with my regular size (10) for the GR's.

If you're like me, at least one pair of those will be sold down the road when you're in a pinch for some cash.

Quadrupled up on the Infra 90's last summer, only to sell 2 pairs later.
