The Double Standards of Body Positivity Movement -

Never heard girls talk about this but something I pepped years back in terms of them being "bad" at money lol.

Always shocked me when I find out that the girls on average actually starting earning more money than guys but still saved up substantially less after x number of years.

My theory was that they dgaf because their plan was to get wifed up and have a shared bank account anyways down the road

It seems like this body positivity stuff is just ********. These people aren't really happy with the way they look, they're just unwilling to make the necessary changes to get in shape. So they pretend like they're happy with what they see, and try to Jedi mind trick everyone else into liking it. Think back to Monique when she was on a crusade to big up the big girls. Now look at her:rofl:Next up will be Lizzo in a few years too.

The truth of the matter is they don't want to make any lifestyle changes, and they don't want anyone to mention it to them. Which at the end of the day, it's their life and they can live how they want. But the minute they start asking people to accept their body type or claim it's just as sexy and attractive as another. They open themselves up to constructive criticism that's now labeled as fat shaming.

I just wish instead of reacting to nonsense, we can just let it fade away.

This is just bird babble.
Facts. Every time it's discussed and viewed, they're getting exactly what they've been hoping for :smh:

Some dudes like bigger chicks, some chicks like bigger dudes.

I had a friend, tiny thing. 5 foot if that and skinny skinny, though she had some knockers overly big for her size. Anyways, she was into only big dudes not necessarily tall but like chubby/fat dudes. I never asked why but hey why should I. I dont think its a personality thing though cause ive known her for yeaaars and ive never seen her with a relatively “normal” bodied dude. Probably a “better” question to ask if I were to ever is would she date a skinny guy assuming personality and all that is there.

Sounds like some kind of fetishization thing, or some other morbid reason for only liking that specific type of men.

^ what?

“Fetishization”?

Isn’t it basically how women currently feel about cut arms, quads, and 6 packs, just flipped to a preference of “bigger”? Now all of a sudden it’s fetishizing?

Most dudes I talk to now like thicker women.. the line of “thick” is subjective and rides the “fat” line for some. It’s legitimately a preference on what you are attracted to.

Ehhhh I dont think its a fetishization thing, just what shes probably attracted to. I have what im attracted to, so does everyone else.

Everyone fetishes.

Each and every one of us.

"a sexual interest in an object, a part of the body that is not a sexual organ, or a person as if they are an object"

When you see someone you don't know, have never met, and are sexually attracted to them just by looking at them (or a part of them) = fetish

"Sexual interest in someone as if they are an object..."

And before someone claps back with the "people aren't objects" foolishness...

"a person or thing to which a specified action or feeling is directed" = object.

Used in a sentence:

"She is the object of my desires"...

Folks be language / thought policing based on the emotions / emotional triggers of others.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a fetish - it is not a mental disorder.

There are levels to everything.

Its only a disorder when the person feels out of control with the fetish / becomes a risk or threat to themselves and / or those around them.

I have a fetish for women that I'm attracted to..

Damn she waited in the rafters on that one. Probably been had the draft minus a pic.

LoL for Tyra at 50 to “blow up” to like a sz 6 or 8 with a butt and still no stomach

I feel like interviewers try to rail road people with these types of questions now

What happens when someone gets matched with someone of a bigger size, see's the person outside of the pod and is then no longer interested? Then what?

I mean there never was big people in real world or road rules. Been happening on “reality” tv for decades. No one on bachelors or bachelorette’s are big as well.

She fell onto the trap of saying out loud what the open secret was

That question was asked to her for pure violence and engagement and she fell for it 😂.

All this crying to folks to include you/your kind in THEIR stuff is wild when you think about it.

Man, make the show you want to make OR watch the show that shows your people.

It's 2022, not 1992 where only white men have a monopoly over creative.

I understand people wanting diversity in OTHER people's shows but if you don't see yourself represented, don't watch. There is something out there for EVERYONE.

It's almost like folks are trying to FORCE everything to be a catch-all type of program. Nah man, it won't work like that.

I am NOT saying diversity isn't important.
I am NOT saying diversity isn't important.
