Of course it would have been great, if Bottas would have held Max up for 2-3 more laps. But they can’t expect him to do it with these tires.

World Champion is going to RB this year. It’s just mistakes after mistakes for Merc, and they have a slower car.

if there won't be a penalty after the investigation for Perez (resulting in Bottes being P3), not going for the extra point for fastest lap will be the cherry on the icing

Toto looking stressed. 
Merc strategy messed up today. They're getting pushed like never before and are cracking. I don't know why the boxed Bottas first when they know how fast Red Bull Pitstops are in comparison to theres.
Didn't even box Bottas to take the fastest lap.
Lewis did well to put in good laps even after chasing hard at the start so at least the car has pace.
WDC is done.

Merc strategy killed Bottas’ race. Not sure what they could’ve done with Lewis though. The undercut was crazy

Toto said they triggered the early stop with Bottas because he locked up and had massive vibrations going through the suspension.
They should've pitted Lewis the next lap to cover Max.

Ok, as far as Paul Ricard races go, that was pretty fantastic. Good right in the front, while from a self-serving side of it, a great result for McLaren. Good to see Daniel finally making some good progress with the car, (despite the pressure at the end by Fernando and Pierre) while Lando, despite making me seriously uncomfortable by going super long 
, ended up with great racepace. I'm shocked at how poor Ferrari was. Charles was the only other guy to 2-stop, but still had no pace. Tyre deg really screwed them.
But who would have thought the undercut would have been so powerful?! Max was 3s behind Lewis before he boxed!
And how can the media even blame Valtteri on that? Sure, he probably could have defended better, but he was hung out to dry on super-worn tyres having destroyed them behind Lewis.

I guess they found a replacement for Singapore. Wish they raced there this year. But they can’t for obvious reasons.
