Tough position for Pirelli, if I'm honest. Hard to find a good balance on tyre longevity (which would make races boring) or shorter lifespan (which would give us good drama, but drivers will complain TF outta it). Remember how tyres would fall off the cliff and lose a ton of performance? Good for the viewers, but not from a marketing pov. Not that this situation is good for them anyway. But seeing a lot of fans already blaming Pirelli for this without even letting them investigate. For what it's worth, Scarbs thinks that it might be debris-related.Pardon my ignorance, but if they’re constantly tweaking the tire formula to make for better racing don’t they run the risk of having more incidents like these?
