BBC says its also because some aspects of the wheels are different and it will be too short notice for the teams to redesign some parts of their car for next season.

It could've spiced up the racing next year but with such a big change happening 2021, I never understood the reason for new tires at this point.

Yeah, I feel like they let me him drive the last car with no halo so he can see the track better. I’m sure it’ll be hard to drive with the halo if you are not used to that kind of view and the power of an F1 car.

It’s already hard enough to drive the cockpit view in the F1 2019 video game with the halo. Imagine driving one in real life with no practice
