Why do people still think Palin was plucked out of thin air? She tried very hard to get noticed by the "Washington Insiders" andwanted to be VP. She absolutely wanted to be a part of this election.

Obama won and they talking about Joe the Plumber & Palin???..... just shows who Olberman is. What a sad person.
Please.
I'd sock that dude in his face if I ever saw him.
I don't know how Palin was "exposed" on O'Reilly but Palin doesn't deserve any blame for what happened in this election.....
She didn't decide to be apart of this election... she was asked by McCain.
Yeah her inexperience as a politician led her to a few mistakes.... but what'd you expect out of someone with that little of experience?
It's not like she can speak as well as Obama.
Don't try to make Sarah Palin out to be an innocent bystander.
McCain was actaully going to pick Lieberman.... until his advisers told him that he needed someone more conservative
So your saying that McCain caved into his own advisors?? That's no maverick my friend, that's a follower, and that'ssomething the American people don't and from the evidence of the polls last night didn't need.

There hasnt been a real Tax Cut in the US since my political idol Reagan.
I hope you don't think Palin is why we lost by ANY stretch of the imagination.Originally Posted by kix4kix

Just wondering , why do you think that just because someone makes less they don't work as hard .
No-one has ever answered this straight to me .
Black People are lazy, so are latinos, and so are all the other people who don't make as much.
People who inherited millions from their parents worked so hard to work at choosing their parents.
That is what they believe, but you will never receive a good answer, because there isn't one.

So it's been the discovered that Joe "the so called" Plumber was on welfare. I told you this dude was a FRAUD, only fitting that he is/was apart of the McCain/Palin campaign, or whatever is left of said campaign.
McCain was actaully going to pick Lieberman.... until his advisers told him that he needed someone more conservative

She knew what she was getting into.
An a lot others believe that he was the Anti Christ put on earth to torture the lower middle class and poor.
We have a winner. The world is a better place without him. Also, most of the strong backers of the Republican party are mostly olderindividuals, nothing wrong with that of course but they are not really carrying the young voters here in America. Generally speaking that is nothing new orfresh about them, just a bunch of old individuals with old ideas, mostly racist idead. That in in itself could really be the downfall of the Republican Party.
In fact, yes he did cave into his advisers.
McCain isn't who conservatives wanted either, so that's fine with me. He wasn't conservative enough. Of course he was more conservative then Obama so we backed him... but that's the only reason why.
McCain was the sacrificial lamb for BUSH'S 8 years and all of the other dumb mistakes/decisions by Republicans that went against conservative values.
Bush did not represent conservative values all of the time that is FOR SURE.
Fair enough I do agree with that. I'm sure we can agree with that alone that McCain is no maverick, in fact he's a fraud in most aspects.
How was she not prepared for the scrutinty???
She took the opportunity and the criticism like a CHAMP.
If you asked her right now if she's happy she took the opportunity, 100% chance she'd say she would do it all over again.
Not sure about that one champ. I saw some tears in her eyes last night when it was all said and done with and, she is addictedto shopping and running up high tabs in retail stores. Yeah she took the opportunity and failed miserably. Most exit polls say that the choice of Palinpushed alot of individuals to not go for the McCain/Palin ticket, if you don't see that as bad news then I don't know what to tell you.

Oh and Fede DPT, what are your thoughts that Sarah Palin handed out $2,000 rebate checks to every resident(including children and babies) of Alaska due to the states oil revenues? Is this not socialism?
I dont have a problem with your disagreements on the issues, but to disagree with candidate A because of an issue that candidate B endorses, seems hypocritical
