Trust me you wouldn't want to live there. The money is great but the rules are crazy. Cool place to live though I know some people that live there.

Looks like a beefed up Las Vegas. At the end of the day, it's still the desert. When I think of vacation spots..I think of Paris, London, Tokyo...notreally Dubai.
They better have the workers there take showers every 2-3 hours or else they going to be scaring the customers away with the odor issue.

They are building all that stuff for what? Its not like the average family would want to go spend their life savings over there. It's built for the richand the famous, and im sure they arent going to get THAT many tourists.

man i been to paris, london and dubai and i lived in tokyo for 3 years. dubai > london> paris (i'm talking to vacation)
tokyo is a whole diff level of nice tho, dubai's got a longg while to get to that level. plus its so damn hot. when i was there it was 120-125 degrees thewhole time w/99% humidity

Yo i been there. for like 3 days in 2000 when my family was goin to Bangladesh for the summer. that place is MAAAAD HOT!!! but its pretty dope. beautiful placestill developing

As I stated, to the customers...the people visiting the place...generating cash flow for them.
My aunt and her family visited Dubai and told me it was just OK. Looked better in pictures. When I go on vacations, I don't want to visit artificialcrap, ie that indoor ski resort or what have you.

Eff Dubai. It's all a front to attract investors before their resources run out. Add to that the awful human rights record attributed to the many peoplewho go there to work for a measly coin.
